You cannot U-turn unless there's a sign that says you're allowed to do so. It's as simple as that.

i kena this kind of incident once, i made an U turn at the road opposite times square.
as i rmb there was an U turn signage at traffic light last time, so i made tat U turn, then police waited for me in front, stopped me and said cannot U turn. I answered him saying that 'but last time there was a signage there telling can U turn wat'.

and police pointed at the traffic light, 'but now there's no signage saying can U turn amoi, last time is last time, now is now, now 21st century edi...a lot of things changed, last time no hp now got hp, bla bla bla bla bla bla.....'

wth, and i took out RM20 and stopped his bullshit.

in fact there were also few cars in front and behind me made tat U turn there, all also kantoi! LMAO

i bet not all undang passer go through all the questions 

just screw up ~ turn a U-turn while green light . afterward 1 waja police car chase kaw me :

police : hey, dik , u langgar lampu merah !

me : tak ada bang , masih hijau tadi .

police : u U-turn tadi , u tak boleh u turn sana sebab tak ada sign board !

me : tapi tak ada sign board sana cakap tak boleh u turn la ....

police : tak ADA SIGN BOARD CAKAP BOLEH U-TURN  !!!

u have to observe la. dun simply u-turn. see if conflict with the otherside of the road/junction.
