You need to calculate in monthly because first 200kw is subsidized. Average around 85 in the hot day. Rainy day I when I don't use Ac much is around 65+

About RM 1100 for 67" x 72" for the shower screen.
TQ.

1. I keep seeing 67" x 72". You are referring to inches?
2. My house is nicely tiled(from developer). Very sayang to hack and build kerb. Can I just use rubber to stick on the tiles? Or aluminium bottom frame? Just curious why these are not options....
Ay cons if I do rubber or aluminium frame at the bottom?

QUOTE(StrOmGaLD @ May 9 2012, 11:19 PM)
My uncle's house located at Subang Jaya, just completed renovation by extending and upgrading his bathrooms to luxury atmosphere. Went to visit his home a few days ago and he was proudly showing me his bathroom with his new shower screen setup. Apparently, his shower screen's dimensions were rather close to yours. Was showing him your quotation on my laptop, he said he managed to get it at a much cheaper price from Emack Enterprise, which so happen was the same shop that I did my shower screen with. What a coincidence! Didn't know he wanted shower screens at his bathroom if not I would have recommended him at the first place to save the hassles. He was happy with the services and found it affordable compared to the other shops he checked around for quotation.

Previously my uncle's lower ground bathroom shower screen, he did it from another shop and the service was terrible. Punctuality was a concern, unprofessional and kept delaying installation date. He was unhappy when he recalled the experience.

Maybe you can check with Emack Enterprise?

My bathrooms were also upgraded a while ago and I did it with Emack also. Happy with my bathroom so far as water can't splash across when bathing.

Hate those bathrooms that are always wet!

Hope this reply helps jedi23 enquiry yea  cool.gif

I called Mr Edward Wong (emackent.wordpress.com) after reading this threat.

Mr Wong came to my house to check the bath. He not only advised on the different type of shower screen to use for my two baths but also gave some pointers on how to fix some of the flaws done by my contractor.

For those who want to make comparison, below are the quotation from Mr Wong. Granted, other sales people at those home expos gave cheaper quotation. However, after my contractor, whom I have known for 4 years, really screwed up my house renovation, getting the best quotation is no longer my priority. Reliable (before and after) service is.

To Supply and Install
1) Frameless Shower Screen using 10mm thick clear tempered glass complete with accessories.
Size : L.Shape - 1000 x 1505 x 1830 (H)
Price: RM 1980.00

2) Framed Shower Screen using Aluminiun Section and 4.5 mm clear tempered glass comprises of 2 slided and 1 fixed panels.
Size : 1115 x 1830 (H)
Price: RM 680.00

3) Swing Aluminium door using Aluminium Section and laminated glass complete with cylindrical lock set and Stainless Steel Hinges.
Size : 830 x 2050 (H)
Price: RM 750.00

4) Aluminium Casement Window with clear glass installed to existing wooden frame.
Size : 340 x 1000 (H)
Price: 2 Nos @ 180.00 = RM 360.00

is there anyway to "slow down" the shower screen swing door?
mine is "over lubricated" and when wind blows, the swing door will slam to the shower screen... it is quite scary.. worry the shower screen will break...

Read through the threads and you will find few people recommended Edward from Emack Enterprise. Contact him. I just got mine done by him. Price definitely very competitive than Reliance and Solid Glass

I must agree that quality of service is of most importance to not just me but anyone else. My uncle recently was looking for shower screen and I recommended him to Mr. Edward Wong from Emack Enterprise (http://emackent.wordpress.com/) without any hesitation because I know he can be counted on due to his diligence and experience in the field. As per expectation, he was really happy with Mr. Edward Wong service.
