Is a simple fact that AC plug might able to speed up charging.

USB from PC provides 5V and 500mA power vs AC Plug USB provides 5V and 1000mA. That doubles the power to charge the battery.

Hi, actually im charging with an ori adaptor, not third party sorry. I'm quite convinced its original...because it states "designed by apple in california. assembled in china. TM and 2006 Apple Computer Inc. All rights reserved". lol sorry i dont really know how to differentiate whether its ori or not.

but anyways, the power adaptor states:
input of 100-240v~, 50-60Hz, 0.15A Max.
output of 5V 1A
its a 2pin adaptor but it states "iPod" USB power adaptor.

could that be the reason for my touchscreen problem while charging? because charging via usb cable through computer doesn't give me any problems.

Need some advice whether to buy a new "iPhone" charger(ori or third party?). I dont even know whether theres a difference between iPod and iPhone adaptor.  sweat.gif

thx for the feedback guys.

where did you obtain that original charger? is it came with the phone package or bought separately that the seller claim is original?

The only way to be ascertain of original charger, get it from Macstore or Machines shop.

Ipod and iPhone adaptor is the same because they use standard USB power plug to charge. USB only produce 5V in 500mA or 1000mA (AC plug)
