^because after he did the haki, whitebeard fully acknowledged luffy. and so did the marines. they already wanna kill him saying he will become a big threat in the future.

yeah, thats because the marine think he'll be a problem in the future since he has a potential. and yes whitebeard acknowledge him, since he has the haoshoku/ emperor's haki. but it still doesnt make him greater than the great shank, whitebeard and rayleigh.
