Frankly, it's a disaster on 8600M GS. The settings are auto-detect by the game, and I switched off V-sync and AA/AF. The starting already lags like no tomorrow. This game is NOT for laptops.
Same setting, but off all the eye candy and PhysX. That didn't seem to help much.... Let's try lowest setting...
That is not helpful either...
Ohh, did I mention that I have been running the game in DX9 mode all the while? Enjoy the game!
(PS: Running in SM2.0 yields the same result.)

Pretty good framerate thru out the game. The FPS stays above 25 most of the time. At some scenes, it would drop to abt 20 (eg Launch a superweapon), but generally, gameplay is smooth
