No drivers are needed except sd/mmc card reader driver and you can use Vista drivers from HP.

Compare this model with the Intel based processor (T6400) and the Intel 4500MHD graphics, which one would be more powerful?
*
i compared my friend's HP TX2500 AMD 2.0/2.1Ghz Dual core with my Intel T5800 Core 2 Duo 2.0Ghz. From startup to multi tasking, browsing websites, low temperature Intel platform wins hands down

I did not use it for gaming, i think AMD would be better for gaming due to the ATI graphics

do i need to apply the same method of installing Xp?

and can it play games that compatible with Xp only?

thx !
*
just put in the disc and run, at the completing stage around 80%, it will bump you to restart the notebook, eject the disc, let it complete. after that reinstall all the drivers. it's simple!

thank nothingz, followed your advice now using windows 7

headache gone, case closed  biggrin.gif

no problem!

i told you to eject the disc at the completing stage due to last time i installed it, i duplicated few copies inside my notebook due to the disc remained in the dvd drive. After that, they are a few folders in my C drive which are the installation files, some files just could not be deleted (very annoying). then i used Unlocker 1.8.7 to clear the folder. Enjoy your Windows 7!

no problem so far maybe due to i seldom on my notebook, most of the time will use my desktop.

just don't use both battery and AC power at the same time, this will cause the battery to worn out fast

it may happen sometimes, so do mine but after you have restarted it, it will be normal again.

if the problem does not occur frequently, then just ignore it.

So sad to hear that, but i think if still under warranty, should be can claim for it. If 2-3 dots maybe hard la, but now is 2-3 line,  sweat.gif

that's why 2 years extra warranty for just RM200 is worth it
