Guys, Ramunia up is because of option 1 or 2 ?

1.Ramunia up is because the Sime Darby already try to get as much as shares from the public to take over Ramunia.

2.The investor (i.e us) interest to buy Ramunia (so the share price up so much) after know the news of Sime Darby interest to take over Ramunia.

If 1, then monday sure up up up. If 2, Ramunia will drop back to the previous level if the news of Sim Darby false.

What is the % of the share price increase for the past few days ?

last time, when misc take over ramunia, net Assets Per Share of ramunia is around RM 1. So not surprise it can shoot up to RM 1.80. Really interesting! how much sime is willng to pay this time?

the news of misc take over ramunia only come out after lembaga tabung haji accumulate 7% of ramunia's shares. currently LBH still hold around 30%. If the take over really exist, why the major holder not buying especially LBH? also dont have any sign that, new holder is buy in? Main reason MISC take over ramunia is because of the Teluk Ramunia Yard. Misc need to expand....... Actually cash deal is much better than share swap, as share swap, technically Sime doesn't need to pay a single cent of cash.

Anyway, market likes rumour now, any tiny bit of rumour can send stock sky-rocketing. But remember to play with buy on rumour, sell on news if one opt for gorenging.

I don't think it is Sime that accumulated the share in the open market, as if they plan for share swap, they don't want to splash out cash to get the done deal, so no reason to splash the cash to buy in the share in open market.
But surely there are some big shark taking advantage of the rumour, gorenging kau kau.

Last time, if not mistakne, I remembered MISC Ramunia take-over deal collapsed due to accounting issue, right? Can't remember quite correctly. Correct me if I am wrong.

Sime previous a mega merger that targetting biggest pure plantation stock and concentrate on plantation, now become a 'black hole', apa pun mau. From Bakun, now Ramunia.

By the way, last Friday SIME up 20 cents to close at 6.65.

By the way, the company has a huge DEBT.

Added on April 26, 2009, 12:31 pmI can firmly said I'm 100% sure on this. MISC wanna to expand, so take over the YARD. the only ASSET Ramunia has and will ever have, ie the land. But due to huge losses and bad debts, plus creative accounting by Ramunia, the buy-out was cancelled and Ramunia price tumbled from almost 2.00 to 0.50's cts in early DEC 08.

Last Friday volume almost matches the volume on 27/11/08 - the day after BIG crash of Ramunia.

Moral of d story - STAY Away or goreng in for a KFC meal

My broker trading system can work only with Internet Explorer 6/8 , can view through chrome and firefox only.

Netbook 8.9" or 10.2" should be quite ideal. 7" if you prefer smaller.

Better use with a 3G modem.

I don't think it will work as the online trading was developed to trade using IE or Firefox with maximum security.
