Im using RM98 Maxid Postpaid. I wanna check if there are any cheaper telcos with equally strong coverage? Should I switch to hotline instead? There’s hotlink postpaid these days.
*
Hotlink and Maxis are the same. But as for coverage, you have to find out whether the other telco coverage is good enough for you. No telco is equal in terms of 4G.

I’m ok with Maxis actually. But yes I’m thinking to switch to Hotlink Postpaid since it’s cheaper and from what I can see, not much difference right?
*
Don't think there's any difference in terms of performance.

Does anyone know if any telco provides unlimited calls and sms to all networks?  Internet and data is not required.
*
Can get hotlink postpaid 30 just for the unlimited calls and SMS. Ignore the 2gb of data.

I am on the same plan too. Considering Digi at the moment given their cheaper plan + 5G coverage.

I don't know if it is just me, Maxis line seems to be very very bad recently. Slow speed even with full bar signal.
*
Our telco coverage is area dependent. Ultimately just choose which telco perform best at your place. In my case, Digi line has deteriorate badly in my office ever since 3g shut down, so I have no choice but to port out to Hotlink which is slightly better. Even at home I can get close to 100mbps as compared to Digi about 30-40mbps.

If Digi perform best in your area, go for it.

I am actually very confused with all the new hotlink postpaid/prepaid plans. Does anybody who has any advice on the best value hotlink postpaid/prepaid plan? I use about 10GB per month. Would prefer to have at least 20GB at least?
*
Since you need around 10 to 20 GB monthly, perhaps can consider the Hotlink Pantas plan. There is 25GB for RM40, or 15GB for RM25.
https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/faq/products/...-pantas/passes/

If you wish to use your line hassle free without rememberring when to topup, go for postpaid. Just use and pay by every bill cycle.

Hi sifus, need recommendation for any Telco postpaid plan better than the current one.

Reason to change: Since last year November, u-mobile line not stable even under 4g coverage area. Wasted 5GB hotspot, never used for long time.

Preferred postpaid with unlimited internet and calls, especially in palm oil estates since I will be always outstation. U-mobile proves to be limited, sometimes no line inside estates or mills.

My monthly usage of data is under 50GB.

Current postpaid plan:
U-mobile GX50, monthly RM53 including GST
5Mbps unlimited internet and unlimited calls to local telco
5GB hotspot.
*
I would suggest you check out Digi Postpaid Infinite or Celcom Mega 98. Maxis has no unlimited plan.
Please find out which of the telco has good coverage in your area before signing up.

actually in terms of prepaid, which one is the best among all the telco?
*
Hard to say, each person has their own criteria. The best in terms of validity? Unlimited plan? High speed plan? Calls only? Price?

I just looked through them roughly. They seemed to price the packages similarly.
*
Yes, hence you have to go through those small details to find the plan that best suits your need. Also don't forget about coverage, because sadly our telco coverage differ from one place to another. Even if someone suggest you the cheapest plan with the most data, but you cannot use it due to poor coverage, it defeats the purpose.

Any recommendations on postpaid plans with unlimited calls and data? I'm using Digi prepaid right now and I'm planning to upgrade
*
Assuming you are staying with Digi, you can check out their postpaid infinite 55 or postpaid infinite 75. Infinite 55 gives you unlimited data with speed of 6mbps, while infinite 75 gives double the speed. Both plan comes with unlimited call.

Thanks for the reply. If I intend to proceed with another telco, which would be the best one?
*
Maybe can check out Yes Infinite basic, RM58 for unlimited 4g and 5G plus unlimited calls. Other postpaid which you can consider are Umobile 98 with 1tb quota, or wait for upcoming Uni5G 89 with unlimited data and unlimited calls.

Does Yes have coverage in Ampang?
*
That, I cannot answer you as I do not live in Ampang. You can ask around or get a prepaid sim to try before making any decision.

Coverage is as celcomDigi towers

They are just starting the integration and it will take 2 to 3 years. Unless you are at their trial sites which are Sitawan, Rawang, Bercham, Port Dickson and Kuantan

Prior to the pilots, customers nationwide were already enjoying an improved coverage experience from close to 400 MOCN sites activated to-date. These MOCN sites were activated as an immediate benefit of closing the merger. These quick-win sites were located near office premises and respective Celcom bluecubes and Digi Stores across the country, as well as in other strategic locations.

https://corporate.celcomdigi.com/news/celco...digital-network

nationwide some place MOCN celcom digi site.
digi 50219
celcom 50216
Plus JENDELA MOCN site, mostly celcom-digi-maxis
*
Thank you. Hope they will add more MOCN tower, 400 is too little for the whole nation.

Need cheapest, most reliable postpaid plan. Currently eyeing on Yes5G, Digi, Unifi and Umobile. They all offer plans for RM40.

I don't need much data. I barely use 10GB per month. Just need something reliable that wont give me crap when I need it. Had experience with umobile many years before this, it's kinda crap. Currently on Digi prepaid, and it is hit and miss, but I'm wondering if it's because a prepaid plan.
*
What is your definition of reliable? If it is about coverage, you best test out which telco has good coverage in your area, because there is no telco in Malaysia which has superior coverage all over the country.

hi guys .. Need some recommendations of which Telco shud I port in.. Currently using Digi prepaid for my 2nd phone however I need to top up monthly to ensure my line & data is active so that I can make calls and use internet.

Are there other Telco whereby just top up once say 2-3 months but able to keep calls in/out & data active ? Heard Umobile offers something similar.
*
Unifi prepaid bebas, or Hotlink Pantas 365 days validity.

Hi guys, any wireless broadband that offer unlimited data (no FUP if possible) other than below?

Unifi Air - 4G LTE + Router = RM79 / month
U Home - 5G + 4G = RM 68 / month (no router)
*
There is also yes wireless 5g and Maxis wireless broadband.
Imo 1tb FUP is reasonable for the UHome 5G. If you need to use more just do add on.
