Digi? Maxis? Celcom sure not..

Plan to swap telco to Hotlink Flex but with RM30 & 1gig data..sure waste...

Need suggestions:

1. 10GB data monthly or unlimited
2. 10GB data monthly for video/youtube
3. Unlimited call and sms
4. under RM50
5. SIM card can be used in broadband modem (modem got from u-mobile package previously) for sharing to pc and smartphone

currently I only have the expiry of 2 years but I need Abit of data because celcom tend to send rubbish mms which eat my credit

From what I gather, even if you use USB teether or hotspot or 4G modem, it'll still activate the hotspot clause. Because some mobile dataplan have unlimited data. However, that's for the phone only.

If you use this dataplan to run your PC broadband, it'll activate the hotspot which has a limited quota of say 6GB monthly depending on the plan.

Not sure if my understanding is correct or not. But I think it is, else everyone will start using mobile data plan as their main broadband.

Recommendations for a data plan to be used for home family usage?

Currently using First Gold Celcom postpaid plan around 100/month, looking to downgrade my mobile bill to around 50/month - anything around 8GB and above would suffice. Wanted to sign up for XP Lite RM38 by Celcom but ineligible due to being existing customer.

Looking at Digi Family Plan right now since my mom's phone is also no longer contract-locked and she uses very little data and always have leftover (currently on Digi Postpaid 50).

Do I have any options outside of Digi that I'm not considering?
