I will be going to USA for about 6 months. Looking at the options, eg local US prepaid/MVNO vs esim vs roaming. It seems that US prices are not cheap per GB data and have so many confusing options. Seems like celcomdigi multipass RM98 per month is most worth it for now (2GB per day), and hopefully can support hotspot as well (for kid's ipad).
Any better options out there? |

Hi all!
I'm looking for a mobile plan that fits these requirements: 1. Cheap 365 days validity 2. Cheap roaming I'm currently on a grandfathered Digi plan Best v4 since 2009 paying for 365 validity period with Digi's Super Super Long Life (SLL) for RM38. Unfortunately, the SLL price has increased substantially to RM108. Even with promotions there is a risk that the low price promo might just vanish. https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...#entry110253691 Digi's roaming passes are also quite good - RM100 for a 30 day unlimited data. Just checking if anyone knows anything better? Thanks!!! This post has been edited by hiiragizawa: Aug 18 2024, 08:31 PM |

I need a SIM card for my car head unit. Saw TuneTalk RM200 per year plan for 10GB data per month, should be enough to cover my Youtube Music and Waze.
So its around RM17 per month, any other cheaper plans? |

May I know which prepaid telco is better for sporadic days usage in a month? Say out of 30 days, I may only need to use data for 10-15 days only. Xox or UnifiMobile perhaps? If xox will need additional rm25 to keep it valid annually while UnifiM doesn't right? Im thinking of Digi Next15 initially because i have an legacy digi prepaid however it seems digi next15 is overkill plus rm38 SLL is not known to be offered always.
