I think the call rate is not that. The call rate for prepaid is RM0.09/30sec. So its actually RM0.18/min to all network. 

Digi got any other plan like Digi campus?
I mean the credit can last for a long time before expired....

When you subscribe, say 800MB data plan with smartphone, is 800MB refer to the amount of data that you download, or the amount of data combine with sent data?

I only call and use internet, but very limited (usually on wifi for data).

I am currently with Maxis, but I want to get out as I pay over RM150 per month and I am sure I could be off much cheaper. I also want to switch from postpaid to prepaid.

I am 99% of the time based in KL (near MidValley). My first choice would go out to U Mobile...because I can live with slow speeds (as I guess I am used to that with Maxis; which is also always slow when I use it).

I have a data plan at Maxis. I hardly use the 2GB allowed but you pay RM99 for it. Add to that some RM50 family line and hence my RM150. I want to switch to prepaid so it is easier to cancel my (non-existing subscription)...as I might have to go abroad for a while soon.

I call less than 5 times a month, and always less than a few minutes max (only local). I only use internet when I am out for dinner or something; tracked it once; only about 200mb per month (rest is always via wifi).

Which prepaid plan is the best for long expiry and calls?  No SMS, MMS or data.  I'm on DiGi but the new number can be with any telco.

Im currently using Digi postpaid and wanting to change to either Celcom or Maxis... Need advice on which one is more reliable.

Here is my comment for current Digi package. I signed up for digi postpaid when i first got my Android Hero almost 3 years ago. Rm 58 (around) for unlimited internet, and rm 30 voice/sms. So minimum every month have to pay around rm 88. But almost every month I will reach its limit.. which is rm 110-rm120. The thing is... I dont think I actually did make so much call. I am a light user for phone... never really Chat on phone.. just normal calling once every few days. I think i have been over-charged. I choose digi at first because i thought it is the cheapest.. but now I think with the amount im paying.. i can go for better line like maxis or celcom.

My experience with digi 3g n its line quality is SUCKS. 3G is hell slow... I never really bother surfing net on the phone with it. And youtubing is out of question. People always calling me... usually needs to try 2-3 times to get through to me.. otherwise they will be sent to voice mail.. and i will receive " you have 3 missed call" sms from digi after that. Really give up with digi already.

So in between maxis and celcom which one is better? in terms of 3g speed, and coverage, and calling rates? I might be getting a new phone if their package is good enough. I ask about celcom already, about what will happen if lets say i reached my 3GB data ... the answer is it will slow down and no additional charges. Can anyone tell me how the maxis one works? I heard of friends having their iphone running overnight and get charge rm 300+ a night.

Currently im using HTC Hero.. and i almost off my data 3g all the time because the phone battery is dying... whenever i on 3g will sucks up all batteries.. But about to change phone... thinkin Samsung Galaxy Note... Then sure the data usage will b a lot higher.. im expecting 3GB is needed..

So for Celcom... I think Exec 50 + Madvance rm 58 = total rm 108 a month. Then I can probably get a Galaxy note for rm 1.6k

What is the similar package for Maxis? too bad it doesnt have Galaxy note.. then mayb go for galaxy sII.

For sms and voice call.. I think Voice call should be below 100minutes, and sms maybe around 150-200 sms.

Should I get the Galaxy Nexus and sign internet package with Maxis or straight away bind a contract with Celcom?

And about the celcom package, the website says 53/month but when I went to see http://www.celcom.com.my/smartphones/android.php#android1, the lowest payment is 88/month, quite confused here.

If you guys/gals had to choose between Umobile and TuneTalk (prepaid simcard), which would you choose?

I noticed TuneTalk now also charges 5sen/mb....so I now am kinda confused.

Almost don't call and don't sms. Mainly need it to be available by phone, and actively use it for data. I heard TuneTalk roams via Celcom. Not the fastest 3G, but all tests that I did once were faster than my RM150+ Maxis 3G plan...so that's why I want out.

Both data rates are the same, 5sen/mb...which is ok to me. Both charge per mb (session). Calling rates and sms rates are not important as I will not use that so much.

what if i use exceeding 1gb?
