Hi, I am looking for prepaid plan as I am tired of the service by yellowman.
Basically I need small data plan for whatsapp but my priority is more on SMS and call.

Currently I am looking on two plans:
Youth by Tune Talk
UMI18

Any other suggestions are welcomed biggrin.gif

If you are going for prepaid, I think you have 2 good options:

1. Umobile's Internet Package (RM28): Comes with 1GB, 50 free call minutes, and 30 free sms.

2. #Hotlink (RM30): RM0.24 for calls, RM0.07 per SMS to all networks. This come with free basic internet, so if you want to only want to use for whatsapp and stuff.

Thanks for the info but I think I found what I want. biggrin.gif
I did consider #Hotlink before but the trade off of validity period for free basic internet turned me off as I dun want to stack too much money inside.
I think I would go for Youth by Tune Talk as the balance of the plan meets my need

Share what I have found so far on the plan (for Malaysian aged 13-25, one can apply for 3 sims max)
From what I read and what I asked through their live chat, this is mainly why I choose this instead of others.
1. Better validity RM10 for 30days
2. RM8 data plan come with 200MB data and 20 mins calls to all network
3. 16 sen/min for calls and 5 sen per sms to all networks
4. Top-up RM10 you will get 50MB and max or 200MB/month (but the data left over will be gone with each top-up)

Need help to decide.
I'm considering Maxis SurftMore 50 (with RM12+RM6 Add On for Voice and SMS) vs Digi SmartPlan 50.

My usage is around 2GB Data + 150 mins Talk Time + 60 SMS per month (all networks)
And 80% of the time in Klang Valley, 20% of the time in Melaka.

Price wise, Digi is cheaper (i think), but not sure how's the data coverage in Melaka (Town area - Bandar Hilir).

Can anyone share / advise? Thanks!

Objective: to maintain my mobile number.

Info: currently i am a subline under my mom, using maxis, RM30 a month. no internet. I want to maintain my number, as i'm only back in malaysia during weekends. If i want internet, i can subscribe to the 1 day RM5 internet plan.
What is the cheapest option maintain my number? I dont mind porting to other telcos.

Not sure about the coverage in Melaka, but otherwise, Digi Smartplan 50 is the best all in one plan.

They are quite transparent as I have not got any shock over the bill so far. Always around RM 50+ (due to tax). You can always try as there is no contract involved for the postpaid plan.
