A.Drive has better grip. However, it doesn't last. It's noisier too. The durability of A.Drive is approx 50% of XM1.

XM1 is your better bet.
If you want more grippy, get XMV1. More grippy than XM1 and durable too.

I'd go for comfort. You can't go wrong any of these.
Michelin LC or XMV1
Toyo Proxes C1S
Hankook v12
Bridgestone GR80

Michelin tyre is kinda expensive but it's worth every cent. It's high quality tyre.
My personal preference is always XMV1.

May I know how much they sell for 205/55/16, either LC or XMV1?

Added on November 28, 2009, 5:58 pm
I don't see a problem to discuss "tyres" here.

Added on November 28, 2009, 5:59 pm
Good tyre & good price. I find it's noisy though.

r u blind or wat? ?
it's call d price list thread n not a discussion thread lo~

I think this thread should have locked if discussion is not allowed here.
Just update the 1st page periodically will do.  I call that KEEP IT CLEAN.

Look, this thread has 49 pages.
Do we need 49-page pricelist? Obviously not.
People like to discuss about the price, features, performance of tyres here. I call that reality.

Keep the thread clean - just tyre pricelist?
No, it doesn't happen here. I call that a dream. Your very own UTOPIA.
So, wake up.

We are human. We communicate and interact.
We don't just look at the pricelist.
We talk more than the "pricelist". And I don't see any problem with that.

P/S We already have Tyre Pricelist [V2] as you yell foul.

Michellin is certainly better than Yoko in terms of quietness and durability.

Yoko A is slightly more grippy though. I rate Yoko as a low quality tyre. It is not durable at all.

nah no need to argue... i'll help others out if needed and i prefer to answer in tire discussion thread but... it will always fall below the order until 3rd or 4th page sometimes...
it is the best that the Mod and pinned it... i'm tired to see ppl posting new thread to ask the same question also... as a M'sian they always prefer ppl to baby feed them...
*
u mai try ask mod to pinned it up lo~

QUOTE(ychwang @ Mar 1 2010, 11:42 AM)
Hi, I'm thinking to upgrade my tyre..
currently using GY NCT5 195/60R15.

is it adviseable to upgrade to 205/50R16?
the grip is improve abit(actually i'm satisfy with my NCT5 grip). but the tyre price is very very huge difference.
Michelin Premacy LC
15 = RM 280
16 = RM 410

Another thing.... if compare Premacy LC vs XM1, which one is better? i prefer more quiet tyre but the shop guys told me XM1 have better grip than PLC? As he said during raining, the PLC grip is very bad and worst than NCT5
*
pls go discussion thread or review thread cuz u're not giving any info about tire price tat u've change~
