But I heard the falken ze-912 not long lasting..means here the tyre easy to become 'botak'..Is that true??
So for the 195/65 R15 can u estimated what is the price per pc??..Before use good year,I use conti comfort contact. The price is RM280 per pc.Don't know if the price is cheap or not.Continental really comfort and bit quiet than GY.I'm still decide between the 3 tyre.Falken, michelin or continental.Michelin I think maybe xm1 because the price is in my budget which is around 260 bucks.owh don't want lerr low profile..later looks like impak maksima. biggrin.gif
*
65 series is too thick, look like tractor only

and 195/50R15 and 195/55R15 doesn't even look thin, it just look nice and more tires are available at the range of 195/55R15, easier for you to find tires and at a cheaper price compare to 195/65R15

Ze332 not really good tires, and definitely not high performance.

Ze912 is around RM135, but take note when is the tire made, sometime they give old stock.

Hi cheeann, I went to tyre shop yesterday n do the alignment n balancing 4 wheels, after tht the alignment still run to left side n vibrate at 90km/h and above.
I went back 2nd time, he asked me to add-on 4 round ring(chinese called "kun") to attach to the sport rim claim tht it wont vibrate. but end up it still the same and charge me RM100 for 4 round ring. shit.. am I get conned? paying so much but end up like didnt do anything. really fed up..  doh.gif  doh.gif
*
i don think the "O ring" is really necessary, if done alignment and balancing still the same problem, either the workmanship not good, or there are some other things in your car that causes the problem.

sometimes condition of the road also can cause steering vibrate at high speed.

QUOTE(iena_jr @ Jun 14 2009, 05:03 PM)
hello..

currently i'm using michelin PP2..wats the best n suitable brand?

there is no number of limit of tires you can buy, you can buy a whole stack, but for your car, depends on which tire worn out then change the one

anyone went to Tek Ming in sunway before?? how is the workmanship? worth to go there?

my cousin he got a half cut satria, half a year never start it, tomorrow need to try to start it and maybe will change a new set of tires if necessary, look forward to V12, Xm1 or Ze912, current tires size is 195/50R15, maybe will change all to 195/55R15 for more choice.

ok la... quite cheap for the tires... i thought 17" is around RM400 and above that is the Manufacturing date for the tires???
a bit dangerous lo if you say no good...
Goodyear NCT5... haven reach the safety mark i throw already...
Michelin PP2 after safety mark left 1mm of less i still can use the gripping is still there...
up to you mah... better change... i thought D-01 ok coz saw a lot of cars using it...

a lots tire shop in Klang Valley did ask ppl to change tis and that or do some adjustment here and there...
that is their tactics to get more $$ mah...
*
aiya....not my car, and got to convince the car owner

just now drive that car, eventhough it is "kereta potong", but the handling still better than my vios (stock) doh.gif

now if i go to tire shop, if they ask me to change camber or camber nut, i will ask them give me back the key i go the other place and do brows.gif

i just bought 4 pp2 tires for my myvi, handling and grip is superb. this tire is very sticky when it's hot, it'll stick all the stones on the tire and those stones will be flying in the fender. lol.

anyway the price is

185/60/14 - RM195 + free balancing, alignment and 4 tire valve, Kim Heng Sunway (22 June 2009)

the manager there is very friendly, ah keong. but the staff there tried to chop me, asked me to install camber for RM55 each tire in front.
*
friendly is the key for chopping others brows.gif

PP2 of coz good lar, hard sidewall, but not much comfort lar

if we install camber nut we can really adjust the camber ar?

Hi, beside these 2, what other option do I have? Michelin got?

205/60R16 (Accord/Suzuki SX4 special size)
Goodyear Eagle NCT-5 - RM310 @ BHP Service Centre, Gopeng Road, Ipoh (February 2009)
Yokohama C.Drive (Philipine) - RM298 @ BHP Service Centre, Gopeng Road, Ipoh (February 2009)
*
dont choose NCT5 if possible

QUOTE(cheeann @ Jun 23 2009, 09:26 PM)
proper alignment on tie rod 2 do adjustment if ur car goin straight but ur steeering a bit 'senget' either 1 side~
unless no matter how u adjust ur car's alignment but still pulls to 1 side then only did up da effected side which causes d pulling~
*
erm....camber nut can solve that problem? last time i go Hup Shun in sunway there change tires and alignment, the steering will turn to left side a bit but the car is going straight.

btw who can give the best choice for those range 230 to below 230 price! for cheap performance tire?

toyo t1r , hankook v12 evo, bfgoodrich gforce, falken 912

the above are few different shop recommended different thing.

and all also recommded ad07 but then 4 tire together is already out of my budget compare from above tire and saw the price from the 1st page.

currenlty using yokohama parada spec 2. hmm is my 1st 15inch tire. but i can felt that is not that good. for cornering. cuz the sidewall was too soft. and need to pump up 255 pressure in it only can get better grip on corners. mayb good for drifter doh.gif
*
pump so much pressure also no good

try michelin PP2 or hankook V12 if you are more into cornering.

tat tyre ar,  i think its for people who love to experiment + have steel balls cos the tyre never say max pressure .. only say do not go over 40psi to seat beads (which i think is the max pressure when mounting the tyre, not normal use)
kononnya performance tyre.. i use little bit (left 90%) the side tread there all become rough (chunking)
but the tyre is really soft sidewalls.. for 50 profile tyre it really feels like a 65 profile tyre, more comfy than PP2 55 profile. personally high pressure NCT5 is more predictable than this parada spec 2 (although the grip of NCT5 is worse, the parada sidewall too soft to do serious cornering)
i think hor, the parada spec 2 can be said as the "unker punya comfortable performance tyre". yoko tyre w/o advan in the name, cannot hantam.

Ahaha.. wanna inquire on 235/75/15 size, agak agak how much is michelin/bfgoodrich/bridgestone?
*
wah, really that soft mer? NCT5 is very soft already, if parada spec 2 more soft means just looking by naked eye also feel like lack of pressure already lor.
