215/45/R17 Hankook V12 Evo K110 @ RM380 per donut.

Bought in August, from Beng San Tyre @ Penang Island.

I was quoted yesterday for the same specs by a hankook shop in seksyen 15 bangi for RM380 also. Im also looking for falken 912 for this size but they say its no longer available/not manufactured anymore and replaced by falken 522. anybody can validate this? thanks icon_question.gif

Thanks bro. i've been comparing between hankook v12 vs falken 912. which one you think is better?how about treadwear between the two, which one is better?

im using hankook v8 now.the treadwear not that good. only use it for 1 year and 8 months, then need to change all 4 donuts already.wawawa icon_question.gif

Hankook V8 quite grippy. Tats y u will change donuts faster compare to others.

If u compare V12 with 912. I would say, u better try the V12. Many good feedback from V12 users.

I was quoted 912 for rm310 by hup soon today. didnt manage to get the price for v12 since they didnt sell it there.actually wanna compare the price for the 2 (from the same shop) before changing my donuts. So far, i was quoted rm380 for v12 (by hankook shop in bangi) and rm310 for 912(from hup soon). when comparing the review for these 2 donuts, it's more or less the same, but the price differs a lot rclxub.gif Oh ya, both the price are quoted for 4 donuts with free balancing, allignment and no charge for credit card.

I actually like v8 a lot (except for its treadwear) very confident when taking corners but its no longer in production, as i was told. so wanted to upgrade to v12. But the price is on the high side. maybe looks like im going for 912. What do u guys think?

v12 of course have better review and feed back from lot of people.I think its performance should be good.but my opinion is can give 912 a try since budget is a concern.and I have read about v12 cracking at side wall too..

I'm currently looking for 195/60/15 for my swift. So today did some over-the-phone window shopping. Here what i get:

Teck Ming

XM2 - RM 280
V8 - RM 230
SC02 - RM 210

Chun Ann

XM2 - RM 280
NCT5 - RM 235
CC5 - RM 235

Hin Leong

XM2 - RM 254
NCT5 - RM 210
CC5 - RM 245
SC02 - RM 195
T4 - RM 277

However i'm still undecided, but most probably going for XM2 at Hin Leong.

Any suggestion is welcome. biggrin.gif
