barca player were all physically strong...

We are physically strong. If not because of that, we would have let them run over us far more easily.

damn. barcelona was playing against cones in our midfield. good thing our backline is still very solid. overall very good tackles from the defenders although there were some bad ones. looks like puyol is out for the next game, i hope we can take advantage of that. maybe change the way we're playing a little.

everytime we get the ball, 2 or 3 players already surrounding us. too bad drogba couldnt score on that chance

their passing looks sharp .. even with 9 "orang kuning" in defense, they still can pass2 evrywhr ..

but sometimes they can shoot but they dont want..

good defensive display. glad cech proved me right by showing he's still one of the best if not THE BEST when it comes to one v ones.
however, i'm getting tired of mentioning his sloppy handling when balls are floated into the box. his goal kicks were just as awful too.
my dear petr..u need to relax a little when crosses come in. i fear its only a matter of time before it costs us tremendously.
oh and some of the acting 'performed' by certain barca players today (alves the main culprit) was really out of this world. ref appeared slightly biased towards them but we're used to that by now. we should've gotten at least one away goal. haih drogs..anelka would've put that one away.

all to play for at the bridge. they'll be missing marquez and puyol which is a huge setback. i have a feeling a very,very different chelsea side will turn up in the second leg. hiddink's containment tactics worked brilliantly in this game. and bosingwa showed he's a very capable defender in the second half. my man of the match alongside mikel. the latter did his duty extremely well and surprise,surprise..managed to avoid a booking.
0-0 is a good result. but an away goal would've made it great.

cech is blues hero tonight, hope his form continues forever!
i'm really disappointed with drogba's chance, he should gave chelsea the 1 precious away goal. anyway nextweek we should attack more but still need to defend as today.

the one wif having solid defence was barca....not us...

We only have 29% possession and 2 SOTs throughout the whole game. More of less like how MU played against them last season at Camp Nou( 27% and 1 SOT).

i think this is the only tactical approach by GH againts fast-pace attacking team like barca. He needs to observe more and redeem the tactical points on SB..a draw is satisfied enuff for me..
