exactly. he rarely wastes possession. and if someone puts him through, his finishing during one on ones can even surpass drogba at times.
yep i now he hasn't scored in awhile, but his ability to retain possession is priceless to the team. i think that's why hiddink prefers him to kalou most of the time. kalou needs to keep things simple sometimes, and work on his shooting. having said that however, i'm leaning slightly towards kalou for the match against barca, mainly for his speed and slightly better defensive ability. most probably anelka will get the nod though and either one could do a good job for us.

kalou got something while anelka trustable.somehow,kalou could make more damage against barca upcoming game but its depend how the game going on.if they careless bout kalou,then he can make it.prefer GH go with him in starting 11,if he locked down,anelka should save the game.its like playing poker.u must faith in ur bet

On the other hand..pep guardiola might have a headache on how to stop drogba+lamps as well..

Mancienne looks like suffering from severe cramps, it was a hot day after all. GH took off Mancienne as he's the back-up on Tuesday night, just in case Bos is not too comfortable with Messi then. Belletti was left struggling in midfield as he was clearly asking to be substituted prior to Mancienne's pull-up.

Barcelona's draw with Valencia came at a good time IMO. They won't be too confident as they drew against a side quite similar to us, counter-attack style. Let's hope that they do get stage fright at the Nou Camp by Wed morning!

i dont think chelsea is good in counter attack,nevertheless i think that chelsea is 1 of the worst with counter attacking.im sorry for make this statement but its the truth.when we got chance to counter,we try but always not working coz we blur when we thru half of field.sometimes striker too afraid to make a run,sometime when we got good chance,we play it to back,wait all their defender full the space.i hate when chelsea make counter attack.but......chelsea is so good in keep possession,beatifull passing and crossing,brilliant 1 touch play and defending.
