finally, after reading mostly all of the keepcoming posts...and wait it to ended..hehe...
congratz guys!!!for going into the final!!! nice win after all...and its certainly a revenge after the defeat at the bridge last match against them... after follorwing it online (gamecast) in the 1st half, then i opt to go watch it.... pretty obvious we control that game....particularly midfield... drog and malouda really own their defense....though anelka look a bit quite... while in mid....nothing they can do, including that fabregas... while our fullback look a bit shaky, look iva...also ashley, really need to work hard to contain with speedy walcott.. even sometimes need to double up with malouda...huhu. all in all, they play crap...thanks to wenger... about the goal conceded, iianm, its deflected, right?so its not anyone fault to blame to.. but did i see cech a bit off position that time, before the goal? again, nice win, but yelah, even if we win, its still good to get clean sheet right...or to be more precise, not trailing.... afraid it will backfired one day... and about the ashley cole play, remember, walcott is just a warm-up... the real test was against messi, the current best player in the world. so whos our lb then in that match will be? carvalho? and why did alex start ahead of carvalho?did RC injured, or need alex for freekick? anyone knows? |

after playing 120 minutes, do expect them to play defensive and only attack during counter. so, its up to us to break their defense early to open the game..

so we gonna 'sacrifice' a bit our offense from the left side in the barca match. only malouda alone on the left...

i mean for boss to contain messi, he need to stay on the defense line, rarely going forward. if not, then its like a suicide if barca counter through messi. so, just let malouda (+ someone from midfield perhaps) to do the attacking from the left side.

QUOTE(Kerplunk @ Apr 28 2009, 04:40 PM) ahh no screening aye. allright then. i don't think riccy has any injury problems. probably isn't 100% match fit. so hiddink must be banking on alex's growing consistency levels. does anyone remember how different barca's current side is compared to the one that lost to utd last season? their attack remains about the same right? the ones i know who are new to their defensive setup are alves at RB and keita in midfield. anybody i missed? QUOTE(matyrze @ Apr 28 2009, 04:46 PM) I will help you answer this hey, what about Ryes, Barca is really different if compared to last season, in terms of tactical strategies yes, our attacker are the same as last year yes, we only bought Pique, Alves and Keita to bolster our defense. I believe however that Keita won't be in starting line up though. no, you didn't miss anybody. Well, we did add Hleb to our team for our attack, but he was rarely used QUOTE(aw13 @ Apr 28 2009, 05:24 PM) Case of too much too fast for Ricky. He needed games to be match-fit, but instead got injured again. Looks like this season's a write-off for him. Alex would have to seize his chances to book a place in the Cup final and maybe possibly UCL final too. score draw is a good result tonight, but win is even better! Cracker of 2 matches I would say, it'd be good if we can get a score draw at the Nou Camp, and finish them off at the Bridge. owh, i thought RC is already displaced by alex (quite surprise if its happen though) due to the latter ability in freekick/setpieces. so its iva vs henry, alex-JT vs etoo, boss vs messi, and 2 michaels vs xavi-iniesta..... as a whole, i think their attacking are already better than our defense (feel free to differ but for me the real culprit is messi. so, really hope for boss to get his job done against that guy. tbh, i prefer essien to play there, using his brute strength against messi small body.. lol, well, i think after ronnie and deco leave them, their setpiece/freekick is not as good as previously. then its better to concede foul rather than let him do his magis solo run until in front of our goal... owh, i forgot one more thing. its not boss vs messi, its boss vs messi-alves! |

so we better than man u la...
argh, boring game, i was hoping at least there was a goal to watch... yeah, good (but not great) result i think to bring back to home... cech was superb!!! particularly against that etoo and hleb chance...really make me scared of conceding!!! and we cannot be complacent next week... we need to keep attacking to search goals, as well as keep defense tight. remember, they only need a goal to make us need to score 2.... plus i think in previous round they held score draw away, both in lyon and bayern... things make it easier for us to attack with the absence of puyol and marquez in their cb... |
