If we do win and they slip, I'd say that we will stand a chance. However, if we slip again in this coming match then basically, it's gone like what the others mention. aw13 got it right, CL and FA Cup for a season.. that achievement to me is impressive enough.
anyways, i cant still forget Terry's piledriver last nite... it was 100% accurate, 100% power n curve handsomely.. but Friedel was 100% aware of that.
IMO, just like what Kerp said, we tend to dribble too much, trying to meddle with the balls longer than we should...we shud keep bombing n let them pay with more n more cornerkicks instead.
yeah.me to huhuhu..but it was tim howard lol..not friedel...
its almost impossible. we had our chance and we blew it. i think its better to field in some potential youngsters. let them gain some premiership experience. yet we still fight hard for our place in the champions league next season.
i second that. give a couple of the reserve players a half at least. they've been patient and working hard in training just like the rest of the team. a good run out will be well deserved. i'm still worried about westham though as clarkey does have the inside scoop on us. but u know what? let's just throw caution to the wind and freshen things up a bit. it could work in our favour as he knows all of our first team members inside out by now. a reserve player or two would disrupt their preparations a bit as they wouldn't be sure what to expect.
I would like to see Mellis to get some vital minutes on the pitch yesterday but it did not materialise. It will be great if he is selected again this weekend.

Guus Hiddink is ready to concentrate on a cup double after conceding Chelsea are realistically out of the race for the Premier League title.
Guus Hiddink shakes hands with David Moyes before Wednesday night's 0-0 draw Hiddink insisted that it was now time to focus on the Champions League and the FA Cup after their goalless stalemate against Everton at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea face Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final, first leg at the Nou Camp next Tuesday and Hiddink is considering giving some of his players a rest against West Ham on Saturday.
He is already without centre-half Ricardo Carvalho for the trip to Spain, the Portuguese having suffered a recurrence of his hamstring problem.
But in a dress rehearsal for the FA Cup final at the end of May, Chelsea and Everton served up an entertaining draw that was dominated by goalkeepers.
Chelsea's Petr Cech and Everton's Tim Howard produced fine solo performances to preserve the deadlock which, coupled with Manchester United's 2-0 victory over Portsmouth, put an end to any remaining title ambitions for Hiddink's side.
The Blues are six points adrift of leaders United who have a game in hand and Hiddink knows the title is no longer a realistic ambition.
"It is difficult but we now have to focus on only two other roads - the Champions League and, later on in May, Everton again in the FA Cup final,'' admitted Hiddink.
"Everyone is disappointed. We knew it was difficult to go for the title so when you drop two points there is disappointment of course. But this team is able to cope with that and focus ourselves on the difficult game against Barcelona next week.''

Sorry for my mistake about our boys wearing blue for the final. We lost the toss of coin for the colour choosing with Everton. Instead, we will be kitted out in our fantastic yellow strip!

woot yellow! hope its bright enough to blind the everton defenders. zola seems to be incorporating youth into the current westham squad, and not doing too bad a job either. ahh can't wait for his return. meanwhile, bosingwa's back to full training!
haha yes finally! i'd love to see ivanovic keeping his place and bosingwa having a go at on the right wing. but what i'd love more is to see stoch getting a start as well! not many games left to tinker. hope hiddink considers all the options.
next match againts W.H hope hiddink will give some chance to our youngster to be starter.. its look like cech has gain his confidence a bit.. his performence last nite so good.. many good saves...

hiddink himself admit bpl is far away from his hand, better let talented youngster finish the rest of game.
Stephane Sessegnon has admitted that he would welcome a summer approach from Chelsea.

The Benin international is currently on the books of Paris St Germain, but has been linked with a move elsewhere for some time.
He has proven to be a revelation in Ligue 1 this season, having moved to the French capital from Le Mans last year.
Now a host of clubs are chasing his signature, with Chelsea believed to be leading the race.
"It is always nice to know that a great club like Chelsea are interested in me," Sessegnon told Orange Sport.
"It is some sort of reward for all the hard work I have put in.
"But there is nothing concrete for the moment and the rumours that appear in newspapers may not be true.
"You must never close the door, although that doesn't necessarily mean I am leaving."
Sessegnon cost PSG 10million euros (£8.9m) last summer but Chelsea should have no problem funding a possible swoop, with owner Roman Abramovich set to bankroll a summer spending spree.
