I'm just so sick of some childish people. Does these taunt benefit your team? Do they get extra goal when you post stupidly in your competitors' thread? You support yours, go ahead but don't show your foolishness everytime we meet or something.

For a player who once plays for your club in the past, you can't even spell his name for goodness sake. Shame on you, idiot.

As far as I remember, he didn't score anything for us. Not even in the penalty shootout against Charlton which eventually, they won.

Unless you meant... Reserves, then yes. He scored goals with his famous canon shots.

Hiddink just played Mancienne on LB in the Reserves. He was talking about playing him against Barca but mentioned that there were other options as well.

I guess the best shot would be Iva on LB, Bosingwa on RB.

They looked tired and had no motivation in my opinion. Whenever the current leaders slip, we slip too. That's not a good sign. Anyhow, a few matches left.. anything can still happen.

Come on, Chels!!

If we do win and they slip, I'd say that we will stand a chance. However, if we slip again in this coming match then basically, it's gone like what the others mention. aw13 got it right, CL and FA Cup for a season.. that achievement to me is impressive enough.

Let's see how they react. Come on, Chels!

It looks cool to me. Even the new goalkeeper jersey is nice. For the first time, I may purchase the goalkeeper jersey too! biggrin.gif

Seriously, I don't find anything funny or ugly regarding this GK jersey. I find it rather interesting and cool.

Anyway, different people, different taste. No comment on your trunk issue.

Terribly sad about this. I felt that as if we were robbed! Disappointed with blinded Overdo (or whatever his name is)!

DAMN IT!

I woke up in the early morning to see my club being robbed and how could I not be mad about it!?

Yes yes, we should have scored but geez, 2 clear hand balls with ref steps away and obviously the incident with Malouda, it should have been a penalty as well.

Goodness Platini, well done, mate. You have achieved your brilliant project to stop an English final.

Just plain wonderful when this kind of scene happens all of the time in our thread. Brilliant.

Guys, it's time to ignore and move on. We still have FA Cup to fight for.

You guys do realise that if you stop replying, the other party will be bored and have nothing to go against with, right? If you really love to laugh or for whatsoever reasons that can let you relish this moment, then might as well take it outside and talk in reality. That, to me is more enjoyable because since no party can come to and consensus point right now.

Plokoon, thanks for the photos (or evidence). I hope the board will punish these foolish referees. Even Paddy Power has refunded those who bet on Chelsea to win or go through. That's all we need to know.

it would literally stall the game and i don't think the fans will enjoy that. furthermore, controversy has always been a part of football which stretches back to maradona's hand of god's era.
*
So, you love controversies eh?

Maradona's case is in the past and it is a lesson for them to learn. I do agree that technology can aid in deciding a situation. I think the fans prefer to have a fair match rather than one that gone side way.

Mourinho has talked about this since the phantom goal but I guess only when it happens to the supported teams, then people will remember about it. I wonder what the other fans will feel when same thing happens to them too. rolleyes.gif Probably.. "Ohhhhhhhhhh, never mind, we love controversies. Controversy has been in football history, part of the game." whistling.gif

Let's see how many hypocrites will act that ways.

i really hope that chelsea would not take ancelotti as new manager..
see what kind of tranfer rumours did we get..
adebayor to chelsea??
maicon to chelsea??
what does adebayor have??
if maicon comes to chelsea where is bosingwa going to play??
maicon plays same position as bosingwa right??
i belive we should stay with bosingwa.. he really have done a great job..
if ancelotti come to chelsea sure he will try get adebayor bcause he really likes him..
if maicon comes to chelsea i would welcome him but i prefer bosingwa..
*
Bosingwa won't be replaced. Instead of him, Ferreira & Belletti would be offloaded in my opinion.

We need a leftback, playmaker, at least one winger at each flank and a goalscoring striker in the coming market reopen.

Meanwhile, UEFA has finally made their move.

UEFA has initiated disciplinary proceedings against Chelsea FC, Didier Drogba and José Bosingwa in relation to incidents following the UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg against FC Barcelona at Stamford Bridge.

The club are charged with the improper conduct of their players and the throwing of missiles by their supporters, while Drogba and Bosingwa are accused of being in breach of the principles of sportsmanship by insulting the referee by making offensive comments. The club and the individuals concerned have been requested to file a statement by Friday 29 May. The UEFA Control & Disciplinary Body will deal with the case on 17 June.

And we have made a quick response towards this case.

Chelsea Football Club will be responding to the Uefa charges issued today in due course, on behalf of both the club and the players concerned.

We would like to make clear again, as we did at the time, that the incidents in question were regrettable and occurred only because of the high emotions and frustrations which arose from the disappointment of a controversial defeat in such an important game.

We are all acutely aware of the responsibilities that lie with both the club and its players as regards setting a good example as role models and upholding the principles of fair play in football. Both of the players accept that and apologised honestly very soon afterwards for their actions.

he is a winger..
can play left wing back also...
he is a more attacking player i guess..
but also can defend..

I never knew that Joey could play left wing back. This is rather new to me. rolleyes.gif

Joey can play at both flanks, with talents as playmaker. He's not that fast but has a 'kick' of nice crosses.

With his record in Europe, let's hope that we can win it next season. But of course, I would love to see the lads to be crowned as EPL champions again, that's the first priority.

Anyway, welcome Carlo! Come on, Chels! smile.gif

To me, all these bringing-backs (Robben, Johnson and Huth) are going backward instead of improving. Robben is as injury prone as Joey, Johnson's attitude (banging the wall and hurts his hand, passport, late for training), and Huth for his clumsiness. I don't know about you guys but if we wanna improve on something, these three are not going to aid.

We definitely need a LB, two wingers on both flanks, one playmaker and one striker. An addition GK to compete with Cech should be good. Hilario (even though known for his impressive plays in Barca matches) is not going to threaten Cech's spot at all. Both departure of Bridgey and Cudicini were silly decision of ours even though I think they deserve to get more matches (which they can) in other clubs. The silliest thing is that we still have no replacements for them, yet.

no way boss will be sell,i know peter kenyon well..he not stupid as many director in other club..we only sell unwanted player not good player..

How much do you know Kenyon personally? rolleyes.gif

By the way, flame baiting in other threads will only leave further hatred against us. I do not understand why that some people are just too free to post this and that in other threads.. If they are good and constructive posts, it will leave good impression but if they are nothing but pointless flame, all of Chelsea fans will be insulted (involved).

Anyway, looks like our chance to reduce the average age of our squad is quite slim. Be that as it may, their experience is something that can't be replaceable. If we need young players, we have them. Stoch, Sinclair, Sahar, Mancienne, etc are all ready to be trained along side with our veterans. I really wish to see us signing a few quality players to enhance the squad. Not by increasing the average age.

Come on, Chels!
