good place to buy VAIO certainly at SonyStyle KLCC , MidValley or Curve. SonyCentre goes second as its run by third party usually. Best Denki or Harvey Norman aint bad either since they did offer their own warranty aside of sony warranty.

upgrade ram wont void the warranty.
suggestion: if you are not in budget, get the CW series at least.

Mid Valley is a Sony Center, not SOny Style.
Kinda ironic. The HQ for SOny is at Mid Valley City, so do its service center HQ but not the direct store.

kencsgoo: Upgrading the RAM wont void but it is recommended using back the RAM which use the same chipset. Usually VAIOs use Elipda chipset (Kingston).

finally! got the bluetooth hook up! me using the cromagnon way by trying to send files manually , only to find out activesync is teh way. its so easy lol

i suggest you play with the display model at SonyStyle and decide. tho, ive try the NS series before and i can say im srsly not satisfied with its built quality.

almost WTF moment at presentation today, after setting up everything, i found no LAN port on me SR55 . i was panicking as the client's office got no wifi n to pull out a spanking new viao without such basic necessity is an outrage! not to mention the embarrassment.

..turn out both modem n lan port are "shielded" by somekinda plastic covering on the right side just beside the power button! i was panicking hence mislook the small symbol on the covering
