pls do not put sand bath in gp's cage...gp is different from hamster n chinchillas...gp know how to clean their fur using their saliva..

Doesnt really matter if its small or big cage.. GPs in general, just poop a lot i have a friend who bought this small vacuum cleaner.. the one you can hold.. so everyday she just vacuum the poop she does it everyday thats why her cage so clean

Pregnancy or gestation takes 60-70 days tops before pups are borned. If she was already pregnant how old is she now? I hope she was not bred with a sibling then you would get inbreed babies.. I am also disappointed that you went ahead buying that GP altho you know she was already pregnant.. which the shopkeeper claims. Because usually un-ethical shop keepers do this.. They leave their live stocks in one cage and expect them to multiply if not yet being sold. Females also tend to get in heat after giving birth.. Its a back to back thing.. thats why its not good to encourage breeding if you have no experience.

You can clearly see the difference in guinea pigs who are pregnant by looking at the size of their behind. They appear rounder than usual. And you can feel babies moving inside if the mother is placed on your lap or something like that.

It takes time adjusting i use to pick up poo every nite last time

i got a new prb..
my GPs r finally toilet-trained.. all at 1 spot..
but the prb is.. one of my GP loves to sit/rest/lie on that wet full with poo and pee spot.. causing her fur to become yellowish... and wet.. and smelly..

i oredi many times to halau her away.. then add more bedding to other area so tat she wont sit on tat spot.. but she juz wont change.. continue to sit on tat spot after i chase her away..

guys.. any solution??

my bathed gp is getting dirty and smelly juz after it returnred to its cage... T.T

CKW what kind of bedding are you using? U mention toilet trained.. but is there anything that you put to make them toilet train or they do it in one spot in a part of the cage on the ground?

So i picked up the poo yesterday night.
This morning, the place is poo hill again... alamak...

2 scoop full of poo! my god...

Reveur, you got 4 gps...I tot i saw 6 heads...I tot u got 6 hahaha...Yeah i mean your gps are very cute...hmm...how come i feel like ur C&C cage seem like a bit narrow huh?haiya maybe the angle you take the pics la..but your cage is really cool...where did u buy the big toilet ar? mine still not toilet train and they love making tunnels...and hide and running around...they usually popcorning in the morning and normal time just eat rest and teasing each other...LOL.

Hahaha.. the more GP u having, the taller the poo you'll have to clean... I got 2 GP also every morning n nite also gotto clean the poo if not... Mountain Fuji poo is making...
