Xiawa, your GP also got mite mite huh? Well, i been using Advantage for sometime and the mite mite will come back in 2 weeks time i also not sure how to cure them...Sad sad ...

Dear you need to make sure their cage is disinfected also wor.. Doesnt mean you already cure the fleas before it wont come back Drop by petshack and get some Germisep tablets.. Clean clean the cage ya ^^

yesterday go watched G-Force, is really cute and awesome movie, all gp is cute accept the mole, last time i remember i catch it in house somemore, scary too...

Recommend you don't use shampoo immediately, use cream and brush it the place which is effected, and don't apply the cream too much, abit is ok, do it twice a week, make sure you don't put too much fruit in the cage, put on table is good. Remeber don't bath because Gp is no need bath accept their have really no choice (not to say smelly or dirty)

Hey guys! I just got a pair of male and female guinea pigs from my friends as a birthday present! THEY ARE EXTREMELY CUTE! I named them Chuck and Blair  They are currently living in a cage. They don't seem active.. And when I wanna carry the female one, she shrieks(I'm not sure if that's called a shriek) Any advices guys? I wanna keep them for a very long time! 
Oh yeah, another question, what's the breed?

1st, you can put ur gp in a high chair, prefer those not big 1 so the gp won't keep running for hell!!!!, ok stop nonsense, then use ur finger & light to see if their skin inner got 1 small black black tiny 1, if u got binocular/magnified glasses use it to see see more clear, my house got those high lens binocular so can see it very clear, that is consider mite

New effective way to kill mites 100%
1- use some bottle/cup and put warm water on it, not too much, more than half warm water is enough, make sure ur hand can take more hotter, because gp have fur so it is ok for them.

2-take the vinegar plain or or fruit vinegar or watever lah, put around 3 cup of vinegar inside. mix it now

3- use 1 cloth and dip with the vinegar and stand by (this is optional if u want) i do it everytime.

3- Now use those microwave rectangle shape and put your gp inside, i prefer do in bath room, then try to calm it down and slowly use the vinegar to wash it's body, keep it rubbing for 3 minutes.

4- and now put the cloth on it's body, to cover it before reach it's ears for 2 minutes

5- after then clean with warm water again, and cover it with new cloth, and use hair dryer, make sure u use dryer style not like our human, keep left right, up down or round & round. this make sure the fur can be completely clean and the mite will drop.

6- But i have the last way to goes is after using the hair dryer, comb those fur, now is the time u use Flea powder, rub it abit hard all around gp body. and leave it like that.

Remember after u clean the gp DO NOT put back to cage, you need to clean it because mite will in there waiting for the Gp too, so clean it out the cage and surrounding.

use venigar with warm water and dip using cloth, make it dry and wip on it, make sure don't get it's nose or ear.

Here are the babies picture. 2 babies are quite similar color (cream, latte brown and white) but A is red eyes and B is with black eyes.  Another one is brown and black color.  Still too young to determine the sex.

the comb u guys use is it type a or b? i got c 1 at daiso but it is type b with bigger gap.. then i got c another at pet wonderland smaller gap de..

Urmmm it could be many problems.. it could be ulser, it could be dental problems... so the best thing is to go straight to the vet. If she doesnt look well, dont wait but go straight to the vet rather than expecting for an answer here~

I use human comb for my GP.. the one where got 2 sides. The ones usually people use for kutu~ 

I have been using this method since a month or so after i got them. And that was last year xD there is no problem with this method. But then again, my GPs are abbys, and their fur don't really curl up too much.. so combing them isnt such a tedious process.
