hummm..my Nubby wont eat other types of veg other then the butterhead salad lettuce....he never had diarrhea yet...he wont take other type of veg...or fruit...=_=" not carrot also....

Another thing that's been bugging me for some time now, has any of you thought about how you're going to manage a gp's dead body? One day they're all gonna die, what do you do? Is there somewhere to bury our beloved gp? I was thinking of my garden but afraid I don't have the strength to dig deep enough...

yes, i faced the same problem before
i think because of small cage and not enough hideout for them
so i put them in larger cage and provide more hideout
now they never sleep in the food bowl, only eating time i think normal
if gp step inside the bowl

maybe others have difference experiences and can share

@Xiawa -- nice basket.. but how will you cover it so that they won't go out hehe~ about the pee and poo inside the pellet bowl.. mine sometimes also do that but they usually do that after all the pellets are finished and i havent refilled.. i think its normal.. Try to put the pellets and when they finish eating, take the bowl out. When feeding new pellets only you put back. Also if the height of the bowl is low kind.. thats why they also like to pee and poo inside there.

Reveur.. i think they restock often.. don't let your spirits down hahah.. gogogo~ keep finding. Also try! go to carrefour.. or those hypermarket.. if u are lucky.. u can find the cubes.. like xiawa she bought the display set at carrefour tropicana city XD

Actually I have thought of buyign the long table which is foldable, surround the whole table with either a garden fence or the cube thingy so that it wont fall out or suddenyl have an open space, granted the plan works a lot better if i its using cube.

But first i need to find out where i can find coroplast.

Hurray..my Sheltie GP safely delivered 2 healthy babies just now at 10pm.  She is a first-timer, still not get use to the experience of being a mom.  Initially she doesn't want to get close to her babies, and her babies were also in confuse stage being left alone at the corner.  I tried many time to introduce the baby to the mom's milk, finally the mom can accept the babies.

Well...if got people want then will sell..if not then keep myself...LOL!

Personally I like the darker brown one, as I do not have that color.    Now  in total already 16 GPs, thinking  of the feeding cost will increase some more....will sure change my mind again. 

I have another abby gp is currently pregnant.  Those abby babies for sure will sell out all..as I am not intend to keep any more abby.

Gosh pay RM200 just to dig a hole??? a bit pricey don't you think? Btw Juz.. i might be interested if you have a 100% sheltie baby in your litter.. 

Well..I understand your worries, as your Jasper is quite a problematic one..  why don't you boarding them at Dr. Jenny's clinic?  Would this give you peace of mind?

wow Juztiny....your really gonna breed them?? anyways..i wanna share few things here...

first, on last Sat, 9th May me, my bf, and his bro went to Carrefour (the one beside to Subang Parade) and saw this:


i saw like erm around 10 or less abby gp were place in one of that glass cubical thing...the one that they use to display hand phones... not only gp but also other small furry friends...like hedgehogs hamsters...and cant remember wat else..oh yeah rabbits and one chinchilla ..and they place the sugar glider in a very small cage like the one for birds on top of the glass cage....i cant take a good picture cos i was cared that the sales lady would scold me...so i took from far...it brakes my heart to see this...btw..they sold abby at the price of rm50...

second on sunday, 10th may, we went to the curve... we visited the pet safari...and true enough about the gps there...they look very very sick...there were like more then 10 in one tank..and i saw a few with mites problem...one had bold spot around it's eye...all of them were abby...i could take a pic coz...i felt soo sad...and there were a lot of people looking from outside of the store

after that we went to Tesco and i found the cube thing that u guys were looking for...

they were sold at rm54 i think.. if i remembered correctly...

oh and on sunday also..i extended nubby's cage hight...coz he's very very naughty now...he could jump out of the box d....before he had to use the orange bear's head to climb out then when i took that out...he learns to jump out with out any help of anythng...  

i used hard paper for it...

oh and today i made a temporary cage for nubby when i brought nubby to visit my bf's rented room here in damansara.

it's made out of card board box and the size is as big or maybe a few cm smaller then the colorful one lol

oh and lastly here are some pic of nubby lol..sorry for taking up alot of space.

Got anyone here allergic to guinea pigs? Not sure if its a common thing or not, but if after I cuddle my piggies, I will get small red welts all over my arm. I notice especially if I contact with any of their pee or even if they lick me, I get welts immediately. My eyes also itch if I play with them too long. Funny thing is I am not allergic to any of my other pet gerbils, hamsters or rabbits, just the guinea pigs.

Does the welts look as if lots of mosquitoes has just bitten you? Like thousands of welts on your skin? I had this problem too but it wasnt due of my piggies.. It was my sugar glider.. Generally when their nails, are long and sharp.. poking tru the skin or contact with it will result to welts.. Washing it with water will calm it down and later subdue.. Im not sure about the eyes tho =x never gotten that before.. perhaps you might want to see a doctor if these happens regularly.. I know my GP sometimes have dirty nails coz they like to play with their poo in the litter pan!  their nails will have a blackened tip.. so thats why i trim it every week now >< Your GP nails trimmed yet? Their nails sometimes carry germs >< cant avoid it~ only thing is to keep it trimmed..

I just attempted again to toilet train my GP. This time I put a hay rack and water bottle next to their toilet. The result is my GP lie on the litter box whole day, jus reach out the neck to drink and eat only

i went to pet lovers centre today and saw them putting "shirts" on GPs. so cute lol but i didnt dare to buy cuz my GPs might feel uncomfortable with it. what u guys think lol

Tada.....here comes the new born Perubby GP.  It is very healthy, very solid heavy baby I have ever bred.  Amazing to see when it was newly born, it could clean its own face and nose by using its 2 hands to rub. Strong survival skill it has.

Juztiny, you can have a GP class already...I am getting blur with all the breeds...LOL.How to slim down a chubby gps?my housemate seem over feed them and now 4 days not at home after came back I nearly fainted. I asked my housemate wat happen to my gps?She said I just feed according ur instruction. Both of the gals are huge now soon will update their pictures...
