Bro, there are one elite setup that i have audition twice (big soundstage , big scale , unbeatable LFE) in SEREMBAN 

I have another cable that has better high as if it could go a tad higher. The pace and dynamic is better too. Very stiff and also more expensive

my cable total less than 1k, mainly from Amazon & Monoprice 
and current in the HT room one is FREE!!! carried over from old owner one...

Just curious how about for surround speakers?

In a HT system, I know most people would spend big portion of money on the amps, then front speakers and centre speaker, wonder if it's worth to spend equally or nearly equal for the surround?

A new toy just landed. For now, it will be busy driving the ultra difficult and famous for whacking a lot of high end beefy amps to early death loudspeakers. It should be in the showroom by weekend for a private session.

Pierreye even has tried it. I, myself did ask before. No jalan, unfortunately.

I got my pro kit from Sound Decisions SG, they are the distributor. I had already asked around in KL, nobody knows how to get it.

The difference is quite marginal, IMO, with XT32.

Yes, a dedicated and treated room. I'm using a Denon 4311 with outboard power amps in a 5.1 setup.

I've not spent a lot of time tweaking the Audyssey Pro calibration, in fact I've only had time to run the Pro calibration once. But one thing I did notice was that the Pro calibration is much more consistent - sounded great on my first calibration. But I had to repeat the standard calibration a few times before I was happy with it - even with a tripod+arm to hold the mic.

The kit was SGD820 from Sound Decisions

Quite a good system that you had there. Must be driving good loudspeakers. What was the improvement that you noticed compared to XT32?

SGD820 is very affordable considering that we could not get it from US. Ronald, tunggu apa lagi?

The Emotiva amp gain at 32db is of little high perhaps that contribute to the hissing sound as usually the gain for power amp range from 26 - 29db only. I find the XPA-1 a attractive enough for its given price though

Any XPA-1 users here?
