QUOTE(MildLO @ Apr 16 2009, 11:49 AM) u can use to cut the sidepanel..but its more efisien if u use jigsaw to cut it..it bcoz if u use choping saw, u need to get the long curve type..if normal one it cant let u cut the whole sidepanel..1 more thing u need to find metal blade..perhaps u can differentiate between metal and wood blade |

those saw are not able to cut the lanparty grill like lun done it...
you need to get the one which the mata/bit is like a wire... thin one, like the previous picture. thicker one or saw bit are not able to cut the find area.... those magic saw is good for cutting anything but not small area... |

just imagine it without the black lines lol...
most probably aluminium or acrylic are the materials to be used... the lines are just to show how it would look like =P but i doubt there would be designs like these in the market.. i saw skull head...dragon..."girl figure" less with words.. maybe this could be something new haha |

I will support you if you start a business but make sure it wont cost a bomb la. Try doing it with color acrylic, it would be much more nicer. Count me in!

QUOTE(tjay_tj @ Apr 21 2009, 12:11 PM) that depends on the brand..roughly it will cost you around rm300-500..but if you buy the dremel,it wil cost you arm and leg QUOTE(lun1986 @ Apr 21 2009, 12:31 PM) 1st time saw tis kind tools, thank for sharing. ah again..you dont need laser cutter for the shining edge aka non-frosted look..just use a blow torch (not your regular gas stove ok) to smooth out the cut area..use the torch slowly and make sure dont melt it until it ruins your acrylic..it's the easiest way than sanding.. ![]() laser cut hav a shine edge. using either chooping saw or scroll saw also need to sandin the edge.summore handmake thing, too slow. but personally i like the frosted edges on the acrylic.. |

A friend of mine has a scroll saw machine. I heard he spend about RM2k for it. He has quite an impressive collection of craft work. I didn't know there is a RM400 scroll saw. If RM400 maybe I'll get 1 also
