imho it really depends on your boss. screw your seniors or your colleagues. after all it is your boss who is going to appraise you at the end of the day. if your boss is alright with what you are wearing, i think that is fine.
i myself won't mind if my staffs are wearing better than me but the minimum requirement is on par with me, nothing less. i can see that they are using lv and gucci but that doesn't bother me. in fact i am just glad that i am able to provide them more than what they want, not just job security. and with happy and satisfied staffs, they will show loyalty and work harder to achieve a greater height.

QUOTE(calvinloke @ Jul 27 2009, 07:27 PM) A tuxedo shirt should only be worn with a morning coat or a tux. well, i guess that's just me. for me it is a good excuse for not wearing a tie in my office. Added on July 27, 2009, 11:33 pmQUOTE(FusioneX @ Jul 27 2009, 09:01 PM) I reckon you do not wear a tie with that? of course not, don't worry This post has been edited by attacusatlas: Jul 27 2009, 11:33 PM

i am wearing them on daily basis and yes, most people still regard cufflinks as the ornamental accessories for the wealthy but the true fact is, they are not.
