These music sheets are old so the copyrighted is outdated. So it is free.

No, I hate to print bitmap stuff. It will pixelize later.

Buying books are always good unless if I could not find it, I will use that website.

Canon in D has many versions for various instruments. I'm of piano major. Does anyone have any Canon in D scores to share? Different versions, long or short, be it piano, violin, rock version, or wateva.

i still like the original version best. it's the vibe of a canon that no solo instruments can recreate that effect, even on piano.

however, i do like the electric guitar version very much (tons of versions on youtube).

and...to respond to the original topic, sorry no other scores. but people probably just transcribe and memorize them, but never write down.

The original is hard for me. Other variation always starts on semibreve while the original starts on crochet, later on until 32th note. sweat.gif

although it notated that way, but it's actually a very slow speed. or, you can double all the note values - crotchet become minims, quavers become crotchet, 16th note = 8th note, and 32th note = 16th note.

because it starts with a C based on your example. C6 means C major chord + the 6th note which is A, become CEGA. just want to go deep a bit, but scared people away edi. brows.gif

Am7 definitely also correct. no hard rules on it, anything can work. music ain't laws. happy.gif

hello lyn musicians! im a big nodame fan and i REALLY love her "La Suite Moja Moja" song that she played with Prof Auclair at that french music school.
i think its called Moja Moja Kumi Kyoku to be exact.

its such a cool song and i want to play it. problem is i couldnt find the music sheet for that song anywhere, or even hear it on the net like on imeem or wtv.

the only way i can listen to it is by watching the episode when she and her sensei played it.
you can watch it here http://www.dramacrazy.net/japanese-drama/n...al-episode-2/4/
(its towards the end of the clip)

so i was wondering whether if there are any sympathetic music geniuses with a lot of time on their hands out there, who could like, ohh.. i dont knoww... lets say, figure out the notes and stuff?

im quite the bodoh in muzik, so im not sure whether its possible or not to do that, but i have hope! heee

thank you for reading this! have a great day!

Mirai e is also sang by Chinese pop singer, i believe the name is hou lai (后來), you can try to search the chinese score.
Japanese respect privacy a lot, pretty much you wont find any illegal Japanese material on the net, after all it's very affordable for them.

I remember seeing Kiroro's collection score in Kinokunia for like RM100

simple google/youtube search yield these...

this is the performance space1x is talking about(?)

Peter, Paul and Mary's version (chords), original artists
John Denver's version (chords), the songwriter

very simple strumming lesson, key of G (same key as the one from Glee)

p/s try also to find Peter, Paul and Mary's and John Denver's version on youtube, those are the definitive versions notworthy.gif

IMHO the plucking technique in the glee version is 'biasa-biasa' only... so that's why nobody has transcribe it biggrin.gif
Try to follow the lesson I posted and combine it with plucking i.e pluck during the verses & strum during the chorus. What you think is great picking is perhaps several guitars playing melody & harmony wink.gif

good luck space1x! rclxms.gif

for ff nuts here's a guy who's done some wonderful interpretation of final fantasy soundtracks

Suteki da ne, FFX, composer: Nobuo Uematsu, singer: Rikki aka Ritsuki Nakano

tab(s):
1.Suteki da ne, it's in power tab format, use Power tab editor or tuxguitar to open/view/play the file. For rhythm and chords plucking

2. Suteki da ne, also *.ptb, for solo playing (chords and melody). Different key to the one in the video, but simpler wink.gif

3. Other Nobuo Uematsu tabs, in varying formats...

sheet music: widely available (and perhaps illegal), can google for them tongue.gif

Sounds like music composed just for the purpose relaxing spa effect. I got one whole stack of music like this...from forest to woods to water to etc.... All are simple composition and you can easily listen to it and play on the piano if you got good ears and perfect pitch. well, I am trying to say... Its not a classical piece, its a pop. like those yiruma and richard clayderman play and for this particular piece, you can hardly find the piece.... coz its styles sounds like the piece was used solely as a spa music and nothing more including pieces for students/pianist. maybe to look for this piece, you have to contact the company that produce this album(water spa music kinda album) and ask for it.... they wont simply give you anyway.

so the only way is to listen to it and try to play on the piano. Those special effects made the song sounds alot nicer but its a simple piece that can be compose in 1 day.

it is possible to use only those strings. and i was wrong about pentatonic. Use the full D-major for the lead.

e|-------------------------|
B|-------------------------|
G|-------------------------|
D|---------------------2---|
A|-5-5-4-2-2-2-2-2-4-5---4-|
E|-------------------------|

e|-----------------------------|
B|-----------------------------|
G|-----------------------------|
D|-4-4-2---------------2-------|
A|-------5-4-2-0-2-4-5---5-4-2-|
E|-----------------------------|

The first two bars. Listen to song for timing. The rest are variations of these 2 lines.

you just need practice. sight read from the most simple piano pieces, maybe just 1 hand. then try 2 hands, then more advance pieces once you're ok with the more simple ones.

remember your first english text book during your primary school? did you realize how easy and simple they're? and try to compare to e.g. form 3 english text book? are you surprised you can actually read them fairly well and fluently, and reading primary school ones are dead easy?

music is a language. practice, practice, and practice.

I guess you read note by note. It is too slow. In fact you should train your eyes to recognise the interval. Judge the distance. Let your fingers to feel it.

yup, this is the easiest way to read - see the directions of the note - going up? down? how many steps?

and there're other techniques on sight reading, which is best left it for a proper teacher to guide.

amersnap, if you can't find it anywhere by googling, it probably means that it's not existed and members here most likely don't have it either.

when you want to request someone to transcribe it for you, good chance is that you won't be satisfied because the transcription is not accurate, or "doesn't sound like the song" as how you mentioned above.

and if you want to have accurate transcription, it's most probably a paid job, done by professionals. almost nobody will want to do such transcription for free, even for practice purpose.

you can wait until someone transcribe it 100% accurate for you, but why not spend the time transcribe it yourself too? you'll learn more, and it'll be an exclusive and unique transcription. wink.gif

practice, and repeat also is a type of memorization technique.. i see a good pianist can play while reading the sheet (not memorizing)..

actually, if you change the title to "Transcribe a song for guitar tab, fees will be paid" then someone will automatically offer you. best include the song title so if someone already transcribed it can give you right away and you pay him/her back.

RM50~RM100 sounds reasonable depends on how complex the song is.

i'm sure many can tab it fairly accurately, but of course why people want to do it for free.

Dude it's not that hard, he's just playing the melody... mad.gif And tone deaf is not an excuse... doh.gif

Need a bit of help? Trouble at certain sections? Can ask anyone here. biggrin.gif But dont expect us to do your homework or spoon feed you.

A BIT OF HELP/KICKSTART FROM ME. All i did was use my ear and took me only five minutes. Might not be 100% exact but it sounds the same no? My own interpretation anyway. So here you go! wink.gif Good luck.

No problemo. I hope you finish it! smile.gif Takes practice, i remember my first time doing something simple like this took me like 15-20 mins just for the first few bars zzz. The guy in the vid also said he improvised like a hundred times to get the tune he wants. So... It's all about repetition man. To get better in anything theres only one step: Practice practice practice. wink.gif

Me neither. Not good at live improv anyway. But I actually meant like tabbing out stuff yourself using your ears. It takes time these kinda things. Lemme know if you need help/stuck.

although it notated that way, but it's actually a very slow speed. or, you can double all the note values - crotchet become minims, quavers become crotchet, 16th note = 8th note, and 32th note = 16th note.
*
Then u can interpret as cut time, easy for u to read

Added on January 5, 2012, 12:12 aminterpret it as cut time...easier..

Hi, I'm just a beginner for piano/keyboard. I would love to learn 'All the Right Moves' by OneR. Anyone here can share the piano sheet for this song?

Anyone got bass sheet music or tabs to Sweet Soul Revue by Pizzicato Five? Or if maybe anyone can help me figure out the bass line and chords to it, that would be a really great help. Thanks!

It's a really old song. 90s pop rock era.

I have no idea where to post, because I wanna write a song. But, I am wondering whether I should have the lyrics first or should I compose the music first? Anyone has idea? Btw, I have no music background at all.
