I wanna start going for facials i notice that in bukit tinggi klang alone, there are so many centres..

what do i look for when selecting a centre?

how much is an average session?

any centres do u recommend, like adonis/dermalogica etc? are these bigger names better than the small time ones that mushroom everywhere? hear news about those botched procedures at small centres, later my face become rosak not that i wanna do any procedure, but just wondering about the quality

anything to beware of? cos my aunt says those girls will ask u to do this and buy that

price is important..i went for facial last time..around RM45 per session..LOL..

means ur rm45 one is not good? i heard my fren's aunt charged her a discounted price of rm80, usual price is about rm120. and i tot i saw dermalogica's is rm100, so cheap?

today,im not using NEW YORK product already..i use only BODY SHOP VIT C..my skin much better..without facial treatment!

Elemi in bkt tinggi i heard it's not bad. (after i talk to their beauticians la cause their technique quite different)

i went for CN beauty for facial.. they are having promotions now.. rm48 for 1st trial.. not bad.. you can ask me more about this if interested

if u feel that you dont want to sign up for package, just let them know.. you will think n consider bout it.. or u can say u still have other packages from other beauty center..

1 question: is it advisable to go here and there for all the trials one.. or to go to different places for facials? will the products or techniques be different?

If trial like less than RM50, it's usually normal washing your face, steaming and extracting your blackheads only and at most a normal hydrating mask. Usually they'll ask you to add money for better mask or ampoules etc..

If first trial like usual price is RM120, now RM80, think it should be exactly the things you got for RM120. But first trial like this, usually they'll give you very good service, so you'll sign up package with them.

Try Cres.

I'm not sure if the first-timer pricing still applies now. The first time I went there, for the first-timer, you just need to pay RM 50. They did skin analysis on me, before proceeding with the facial. And they did not request for me to top up for better ampoules or masks. Of course that RM 50 means I can only opt for certain facials. But those facials are pretty pricey on normal rates.

They just went ahead to use the usual products that they normally use for their regular customers. Only difference that I had noticed was that they did not shape my eyebrows then. It was only after I had signed up with them, that they shaped my brows whenever I go for my facials.

So far, I'm pretty pleased with my Cres Branch. Their service still maintain even though I had signed up with them. Not those who give a "don't care" attitude. Nor did they ask me to top up for better ampoules or mask to apply on me.

TS, it depends on ur skin condition.. if urs is severe, u might need a more upgraded facial... if u just wanna have a normal basic facial, u can try their 1st trial version and see the result afterwards

Get ur skin analyzed 1st in the facial parlour before taking up any facial

I have mine at Adonis BTS.. I find them unsatisfactory so I will not go there again.

I personally prefer the facial from Dermalogica more

i tried Cres before when they had the buy 1 free 1 promotion for RM88
it wasn't too bad but the beautician kept asking me to buy many things
their normal price is quite pricey i dun think i can afford

I think first timer promotion could varies from RM 20-50, but normally they will ask you to sign package and bla bla bla about their products.
Do not go to Adonis at Aeon Bkt Tinggi branch, the beautician, called Alice is somehow rude and pushy. I made a wrong decision to buy a serum from her. I thought buying from her could reduce her pushy attitude, but instead she became worst, so never ever stop someone from being pushy by buying anytings.

The products I bought might be good, but they oversell it and hv no technical knowledge at all. They sell a 15ml serum for RM440, but I found it online at price less than RM 200. Some more they cheated the origin of products, DR.PGA TIF-C Lightening serum 靓白原液15ML is origin from Taiwan Winston Medical Supply Co., Ltd., but they told me it is manufactured in Singapore. Try to answer their question with your questions to stop them from pushing you to buy anythings.
