ic, but i'm not sure what kind of product that you mention, there have a lot, but is true, don't send back your Nokia Phone to Sapura for warranty purpose or whatever..you need to direct send to any one of Nokia Service Center in Malaysia..Sapura is only a distributor, really really Distribute only, no after sale service direct from Sapura..

cause i found forumer (you all are genius) have knowledge about the phone are a lot better than me and sometimes i can found the solution from here..good to sharing here..

regarding the dead pixel, can show to Nokia Service Center..so far all my customer were successful claimed, especially the E71 owner..but now less happen..

i think you mixed up or confused with distributor and warranty provider..

Nokia Malaysia provide warranty service to Nokia Phone which is distibuted by Zitron / Avaxx or Sapura only..

Regarding the warranty
all official unit of NOKIA MALAYSIA (which is distributed by ZITRON / AVAXX / SAPURA)..the warranty can claim at any one of the NOKIA SERVICE CENTER in MALAYSIA..

actually that is not important where the phone made from, most important is the phone is genuine from Nokia (not the recond or whatever, If AP set still genuine just not the warranty from Nokia Malaysia..)have good warranty on the unit..this is what i'm think..

if official unit, this can be claim..

the plate is the FM Transmitter connector..

so much harder to slide the phone open? i think the phone is easy to slide what..

can your PC Suite detect your N85, did you update to the latest version of PC Suite..

running anti-virus on your PC? try to turn off the firewall and try again..
i think now the easy way is just update from your phone via FOTA with the Wi-Fi connection..

do you have any friend or somebody are familiar with mobile phone, if there know this N85 are better, ask them to check the phone for you, then accompany you to the shop and ask the seller for assist..
because from what you said in the post, you phone like got problem, but may be you don't know how to handle..

cause that day i update firmware
then till 101mb something suddenly stop = actually this will happen if the firewall is on or the internet connection is bad..just download again..then i go hard format it
then i go change the product code = this part i'm not sure..
then ok le
then update
is it this make it problem out ?
weird i charge hp can see my hp restart = is it just one time only, may be is bug..too frequent = your phone got problem..

this is based on normally what my customer faced for the problem..

from what you told, the phone is faulty, cannot detect network..have to send to service center and check..
