did you authorize your computer before syncing?
p/s: if you were to sync your iphone to a newly unsynced and unauthorized computer, a notification window stating that it'll delete the apps in your iphone as it's not authorized will pop up right? haven't you come across this window before?

I'm experiencing the same issue as well, a pop-up that says it will delete all my iPhone apps when I tried to sync my contacts.
I recently bought a MacBook Pro and an iPhone 4. Both are brand new with the exception that iPhone 4 is running 4.3.3 (JB).
Is there a solution to this?
Your help is much appreciated
Thx

I've just 'Authorized' my MBP and tried to resync with my iPhone. Still no luck. I'm experiencing the same issue as well, a pop-up that says it will delete all my iPhone apps when I tried to sync my contacts.

Here's what I did.
1) After I've checked the 'Sync Address Book & Contacts' box, I noticed that the 'Sync' button at the bottom right corner has changed to 2 buttons, 'Revert' & 'Apply'.
2) When I clicked on 'Apply', the warning message pops-up.
