you must create an account based on the origin of your credit card.

for example, you must create a malaysian based iTunes account using your malaysian credit card

hey thanks for replying. nope, i've never created any itunes account. as i said, i just started today and what i did was trying to create an account without using a credit card (the "none" option). however, what i got was my credit card declined.

First of all, I'm not using a card to create an account. I did almost everything I can find but still no luck. Can you imagine getting an error saying "Your credit card has been declined. Please enter valid credit card information" when you're not even using a card to register? I'm sure everyone here knew about the "None" option when prompted to provide payment method. So yes, I'm still facing a problem creating account although I did as you guys suggested.

Have you follow the exact steps in the video @ post 1445?

Every step, bro. Lucky me now, I got my friend to create my account and then I changed the password. I downloaded a few apps and got prompted to edit my billing info. As I said before, I was only looking for free apps. So, I chose the option "None" and I got the previous error. Again cry.gif
