hi guys, im not sure if this is the right place to post this but anyway, i got my iphone 3gs 16gb 2 days ago.
its through maxis and therefore i assume its an unlocked set with the 3.1 firmware.
apple recently came out with a new firmware which is d 3.1.2 firmware which is supposedly able to solve the battery drainage problem and some auto shutdown problem. how true is that?
thats my 1st question

next, if its true is it recommendable if i update it to 3.1.2 and if yes, what are the steps? must i backup ? where do i backup n so on.

hi guys, wld lik to ask 2 questions.

first of all, my phone is jailbroken. if i would want to arrange my applications using the pc (because its more convenient), will it b able to transfer as in it'll not affect anything? cos i did dl some stuff through cydia n all n nt thru itunes. would it sync?

2nd, wen i opened i tunes, under library ---> applications. next to applications, theres a number 3. wats tht no. 3
