yo...wanna ask...if i have firmware 2.1 currently...and i want to upgrade to 2.2.1 without deleting all my current data...how do i do it? And how to do it without getting my phone 'bricked' ...hehe...

Problem Encountered : None. I just want to upgrade firmware so i can download new application. But wish to maintain old application/phonebook entries etc in my current iphone.
Steps Had Taken (list down) : Ask in this forum!

Other Info / Remark : As mention above, just wanna upgrade firmware but would like to keep every existing data in current phone.

Is this a phishing scam?

hi all,

i tried to update and download firmware 4.2 for my iphone4... but everytime i cannot manage to fully download....always download halfway then the download stop and got error...



so how do i download the 4.2 firmware to my pc and update my iphone?

mine is digi iphone..should be unlock...no risk to update firmware right?

After updating to 4.2.1, my lock screen like got shadow at the bottom of the pic...
When i search the net, i found out this is applied in 4.2.1.

If new pc...no song... And u select sync songs... Then yes... Ur iphone songs will be wipe out.. Sync is from pc to phone...

songs just use thumb drive copy la...to new pc...and resync...
