Just tried creating an US iTunes account. Unfortunately after 2 hours i still dont get any activation emails from them.
so i went on the live chat and the guy kept pestering me for my billing address..haih..looks like this is their last method of stopping people outside of US to create? I hope not. I didnt dare to tell coz i put some dunno wat place in US as my address. lol |

I have talked to them via livechat and emails but both also ask my home address which I dont dare to disclose since it's not real address. I know can creat Msia acc, but the apps there is sooooo little. I guess I'll ask either my US friend or Aust friend to create for me. Haih. Sorry for troubling you guys. |

@davidgary: I have installed the latest itunes and click on the activation link again but still nothing. Anyway I use the resend option again so hopefully this time can.

finally able to create my US account...what I did differently this time is to use my company's vpn so technically when I click on the activation link, my IP shows that I am in US.
I hope that is not a factor else future if anyone wants to create an US account, you would have to find a vpn or a proxy to hide that you are not from US. |
