ok but my question is...look at my 4 cores temp sweat.gif..is that normal...without OC mode the temp temp high lo =.=||
*
u call that high? u aint seen the temps on my quaddie @ 4ghz yet

55+ idle is hot for 400FSB. What heatsink you are on anyway? Check your fans, thermal paste and cable management too.

i doubt that's his idle temp... difference between load and idle is less than 3c on core temp? how can 1

QUOTE(kilowatt @ Apr 14 2009, 09:13 AM)
yaaa correct...btw normally will go ony at 14s on 1M....but that is coz i run OCCT at same time.....dunno why....
*
u run OCCT of cos la super pi performance drop.... both trying to take over processing power... apa la

conclusion, ur temp is pretty much normal... from the looks of the vcore, it's as predicted... regarding the error on occt, im not sure if occt sees faults on ram as an error or not biggrin.gif

load 66c on 1.232v @ 3.2ghz, with stock vcore is 1.175... 67c is pretty normal to me... from my point of view, it looks like u overestimated ur proc and heatsink, thinking that 45nm "should" be cooler and s-1283 can cool down a quad core like ice... from what i see, ur vcore, stock vcore and oc'ed clock, ur TDP should be around 120w... although Q9450 is a 45nm proc, it still has a tdp of 95W at 2.66ghz, same as Q6600 65nm, much hotter than any core2duo at its clock speed.. the only differences is the vcore it takes to reach a certain clock speed, ie Q6600 1.3v 2.4ghz, Q9450 1.2v 2.66ghz and so on

@kilowatt, mind stating in text form what is ur idle and load? i blur seeing ur screenshot not knowing wat u wan me to see

Stock

Idle = ?
Load = ?

OC

Idle = ?
Load = ?

an info i'd share wit u on how to calculate TDP

TDP = Stock TDP*(overclock speed/stock speed)*(voltage used/stock vcore)

so ur quad core heat = 95W*(3200/2667)*(1.232/1.175)

just a rough estimation, but its quite accurate though biggrin.gif
