Just to share, for photographers. I bought a kata 467i backpack for my camera equipment and it comes with a nice compartment for a 15 inch laptop. Good 2 in 1 carry option

rclxms.gif so nice .i'm going to get my first MBP soon (still can't decide 13"2.8ghz or 15"2.2ghz rclxub.gif ),but i've already ordered a Kata 466i for my dslr equipment and MBP ( think 15" can't fit into 466i,467i would be nice). kata 446i is a laptop & camera bag that doesn't scream "Guys,i'm carrying expensive MBP and Nikon DSLR here" in public...

hey guys! i just bought a mbp 13" this afternoon... may i ask what is the suitable protector for mbp? would prefer it naked feel yet i need a protection for it. what is the essential accessories that i need? Thanks heaps!

I got a few choices in my head currently which is the Moshi Palmguard 13", MBP anti glare moshi vs power support (which one is the better choice?) and a skin mate touch FX vs moshi clear guard.

Naked is still the best!

Ive tried :

1. speck seethru satin case=looks nice but makes it bulky n heavier.

2. Moshi palmguard=the palmguard is good but don't install the included trackguard, it sucks on the touchpad. Making it less sensitive.

3. Moshi Ivisor=the dumbest investment ive ever made on my Mbp. If u can stand the glare, leave the screen alone else get a cheaper antiglare screen protector.

4. Moshi clearguard=good and perfect fitting on the keyboard, dosent move around but it gets cloudy over time.

5. Moshi codex=superb quality and design. Bulky and no extra compartments for accessories.

Now, my latest 2011(early 2011 model) Mbp is protected by a moshi muse sleeve and a radtech screen saverz.
It's still in flawless condition after 6 months smile.gif

Gonna get my customised MBP 15" soon and thinking about protecting it.
Already have a sleeve. But want some protection while using it to avoid scratches. Anyone use iDefense? Or is Bodyguardz better?
For keyboard, is Moshi the best?

I'm using the Capdase folio case for 13'.

Very useful and affordable case. Fold-able and even provides palm protection.

Too OCD la to do that. Besides, company bought for major project and I get to keep it after that, so want to keep it as pristine for as long as I can tongue.gif Agree though that naked is best biggrin.gif

Thanks for your suggestions thumbup.gif. Not planning to get SP as screen already customised to antiglare. Also want to avoid case as add bulk and have to regularly remove to clean.

Thanks for the feedback.

Decided to get iDefense (something like bodyguardz), Moshi palmguard and keyboard protector and carry it in MBMJ sleeve that I already got.
Now if only my MBP would get here ASAP, it's still stuck in PVG since last night cry.gif
