just ride the wave while its still alive. Going to employ a trailing stop loss strategy. Sell if a share drop xx% off its high.

QUOTE(whizzer @ Apr 14 2009, 11:12 PM)
should be the other way round. i.e. having 400 units of share will allow you to buy 500 units at a special rate of RM 1.12 each.

hmm.gif Hmm... Don't think the OR will open at 1.12. Not sure how its calculated. But taking the last closing price of 1.77. So the price should be lower or equal to (1.77-1.12) = 0.65

Any sifu's out there can confirm ?
*
yea i think you are right, my mistake earlier. The rights should theoretically trade at a Rm1.12 discount to the market price of the mother share.

I think the 2.00 x1000 is incorrect. I also want to know the actual number.
*
when the rights expire, you have to pay RM1.12 for every right you hold. To get the mother share.

LYN server down, haih

Then its better to buy MOTHERSHARE now? 175
*
Depends, on how the conversion is done. Is it 1 right to 1 mother share, or is it 5 rights to 4 mother share?

if its 1 to 1 then assuming the same price for axiata as now, during conversion. the the rights are cheaper 1.12+0.59 = 1.71 (compared to 1.76)

personally, i don't think axiata is that good a company at all atm. too many variables, high risk.

the 5 to 4 is applied to how many rights you will get, if you are holding Axiata shares before the ex-date on 10 Apr. U get 5 OR for 4 mother.

I think since there is no mention of any conversion ratio. We can assume that, when you are holding the OR, you will be able to buy 1 Axiata share at RM1.12 for each OR you hold.

bcoz there's no basis to surge in the first place tis morning..

its goreng.. there is no basis for anything.. tongue.gif

some big brother manipulating everything behind the scenes.. most of these shares are loss making companies.. nobody has any business "investing" in them in the first place.

i have a feeling they are shaking off the small holders so they can goreng another round.

Another one too...I missed the KNM, Kinsteal and Lionind. Just wonder these counters will continually rise or not so that I can enter the boot now ?

Any idea ?
*
if u enter now, you have to watch it closely and adopt a tight stop loss. don't hold for too long if it start falling.

for those who are observant, you will notice the pattern.. around 10 oclock is always bear territory when the market opens up.

then in the afternoon, it will make new high. Happen quite a few times already.

Will it happen again today?
