This stock is not suitable for people who are lacking patience.

better dont touch this counter, i dont think it is suitable for u. volume very low..... If for dividend only, worth to buy. I get dividend every quarter, 0.5 sen, 0.5 sen and recently just announce to pay 0.75 sen.

What I meant is that since most people lost money in trading,LHDN will not gain at the end of the day if they assess your trading gain as business income.

Income tax will not pay you back CASH refund for losses.

You could accumulate losses in income tax to collect bonus link points if you want.

There are many types of business incomes like rental income. Each under diff section, cannot be used to set off one another ( like trading of shares )

Sorry sounds a bit harsh.

For example - trading loss 100,000 tax loss carry forward.

Comm Income rm 100,000 - pay tax on this amt first.

I don't think there is a provision of income tax law that can carry forward the loss. Correct me if I am wrong.

Only this year under the new stimulus package, they allow loss being carried forwards, which only is allowed for this year.

Last year loss 100k, that's you matter.
This year gain 100K, tax you 26%, aka 26K.

Sorry i mixed up with business tax ( person in business like corporation with Profit and loss account )

( anyhow , trading is also deemed to a business source, depending whether one wants to submit a profit and loss account ).

The person I talked to is deemed to carry on a business.

might Not applicable to personal income tax ( not submiting together with a profit and loss account )

I think loss incurred in normal business activities can be carry forward, providing the company or sole proprietor fulfill certain requirements. Trading loss can be consider as normal business course if the company is mean for investment holding or the activity deems to be normal course of business.
