Haha, I did no doubt, but what I'm saying is true isn't it? Ppl always go for IE7 when they feel that the bass of IE8 is too much, the IE7 has balanced, or natural sound in another way of speaking, so yea, it pretty much fits his requirement.

Does the UM3x have bass impact?
I'm listening to a BA IEM right now and missing the bass thump of a dynamic.

Go for the UM2 perhaps?
It has a lot stronger bass compared to UM1 and UM3x, although you might miss some of the clarity though.

Can I ask if the SQ of the IE7 is warm or bright, and how is the soundstage? Thanks.

IE7 is definitely at dark, warm signature, sennheiser is stubborn on changing their house signature, this will be what sennheiser sounds like.
