(streamyx modem to pc is straight cable right?) maybe i should find cross cable tomorrow. Added on August 28, 2010, 7:16 pmguys,i used cross cable also no luck. i followed the instrucyion at page 1st. no luck. does the LAN connection has to be enabled? because i only enable the modem and ics setting at the modem. still cant get the ip. anyhelp? Getting Started Junior Member 237 posts Joined: Jun 2009 From: German Malaysian Institute	Important Note: If you failed to get the ip address,it means the computer/router and your ps3 is NOT connected via lan.Try to do LAN connection first before attempting connecting to your wireless modem.Your wireless modem has nothing to do with the error "unable to get ip address".
