change the ip address at the LAN,not your phone mode.
192.168.0.1 for pc. then proceed with the step. |

Important Note: If you failed to get the ip address,it means the computer/router and your ps3 is NOT connected via lan.Try to do LAN connection first before attempting connecting to your wireless modem.Your wireless modem has nothing to do with the error "unable to get ip address".

QUOTE(Caterpillar_3309 @ Sep 27 2011, 07:53 AM) Enabled the ICS eh? I think I've did that...but, donno lah, maybe sumthing wrong sumwhere. IDK about windows 7, but on my Xp,i set my LAN connection pc by using manual ip address. 192.168.0.1 for pc,and set up manual ip for my ps3 too,192.168.0.2 for ps3. Then i enable ICS on the broadband connection, not on the LAN setting.Really need help guys. Instruction on page 1 only for XP. My one is windows 7. Quite different options i think. Been trying few nights la, but never succeed. Hope Mr. TS can update steps for windows 7 user. And Mr. afeeq, since our setup is similar, could you elaborate more on enabling the ICS? Really stuck here la...aiyoh Added on September 29, 2011, 8:14 amNeed help Bored to hell playing games alone la...wuhuhu |
