hello guys,

Need your advice here on my Macbook pro 13" mid 2010 model.

Recently my MBP hangs very often, like 1-2 times in a day. It's not the typical GSOD or spinning beach ball. it just hang with blank screen.

my current setup is mbp connected to dell 23" external monitor via miniDP cable. whenever it hangs, the screen will be totally blank on both MBP itself and the external monitor. sometimes it hangs with white blank screen, sometimes it's black, and other colour. trackpad/mouth and keyboard are not responsive during that time. there is no log or whatsoever, and the only thing i can do is a hard restart.

on average it hangs once in a day, started like 4-5 days ago. i've tried resetting the PRAM and SMC but it's still the same.

Can someone please advise what to do here?
thanks in advance!
