How old is it? If it is still under warranty, you might get a FOC replacement...

If you call the AppleCare, the work following the time of day .. if you're calling them early in the morning, your call might get picked up by Oz (or Malaysian working at Oz call centre, as I've experienced before). If you're calling them later in the afternoon, you'll get someone who seems to speak American or British English .. but pressed further, you can hear they're not American, neither British ..
You can hardly get to speak to the real cowboys unless it is very specialised case like the above on RAID stuff .. because they won't be staying up late after office hour .. |
