just wanted to share my experience:

My MBP is late 2011 model, 15 inch.
One day, it crashed and won't boot up.
One of the symptom is having white horizontal lines at the apple logo screen.
this actually happened before, but i managed to revived it.

this time, it can't be revived, so i sent to Machines at KLCC for diagnostics.
turns out the Main Logic Board (MLB) rosak last week, but is covered by Apple Extended Warranty
also, diagnostic shows that hard disk and right subwoofer also kaput. so need to pay for those.

total service including gst: RM678
now still waiting for the spare parts to arrive...
