my macbook white have alot of static charges and its painful when spark my hand on the keyboard. should i send it back for repair or it won't harm anyway?

Time Machine destroyed All My Backup .

Why must Time Machine (in Mac OSX)have to do back up of my newly reformatted Hard Drive (with new installation of OXS Leopard) and removed all my previous Timeline after I activated Time Machine ??? the reason i activated the Time Machine Back up is to store NEW DATE in Timeline so that i can return back for this clean formatted drive.

Time Machine ( which was back-up previously in external Hard Drive ) suppose to keep my previous Timeline backed up but it erased them all.

Am I doing all this wrongly? Time Machine is suppose to go back in time and retrieve back apps and documents , right? But the backing up of new fresh OXS can also wipe out the entire Timeline of the previous back up?

Can i install a 1 terra byte hardisk for my White colour macbook? My space is running out very fast. i need to upgrade from 500gb to tera now. any recommendation for internal 2.5" hdd ?thanks

am i stuck at 500GB hdd like that? luckily i ask here , i almost getting a 1tb hdd already .
