Why the magnet no strong oredi cannot close is it put like this izzit any problem? Should i take back to mac store or fix by self

Today I was putting my macbook back in my sleeve and bag, after using it all day. I noticed that, when totally vertical, the lid was falling open for about 1 cm. Not far enough to get out of sleep though, luckily! It's the left top corner of my macbook where the magnet is not working. Is it possible that it has died or something?
