Do u mind posting a IOUSBCompositeDriver.kext, AppleUSBHub.kext from ur macbook?
Its in System/Library/Extensions/
I'm using 2.4GHz Macbook Unibody..
Running on Macbook 10.5.6..

Hey..i seem to have problem..

I replaced those kext files..and then i boot in safe mode then my trackpad and keyboard can use again..

Then i install 10.5.6 combo update and when it restart it normal mode everything is fine..
But after i restart again..or shut down and on the next day..
Same problem..
I have to boot to safe mode only my trackpad and keyboard can work..

Why?
Do u have any ideas?

I create a new admin account and then what do i do with the old one?
Create the new account and then restart is it?

Anyway..i kept the combo update in my external HDD..
So i just apply right..

Anyway..everything is fine unless i reboot..
So i'm keeping it in sleep mode for the time being..

I'm still having the same problem..
keyboard and trackpad not working after restart..
After restart i have to either run the combo update again or repair my HD permissions then when i restart can use again..

I did what u said except reinstall OSX..
Cause i dont have the dvd with me..
My cousin already ripped out my OSX DVD and plan to upload to torrent for me to download..
The iso file he ripped can also be used right?

Hey my macbook alu (late 2008) battery shows service battery. I called apple support and they say confirmed that my battery is faulty based on the cycles etc.

They asked me to send to a service provider. Anyway my question is i can just send it to Machines right even though i got mine from Mac City cause Machines is listed as a service provider where else Mac City is not.

Anyway this is my battery info.

Send my MacBook alu to machines today abt the battery issue. They took the whole laptop also..damn..They say they need to check other stuff too..crap now I lost my main comp..

They're gonna clear my stuffs?Wth?What does it got to do with my data?

I decided to send to Machines instead of calling Apple Care. I thought it would take a shorter time this way instea of having to arrange for pickup etc..I'll give a call to Machines and demand they not clear my drive then. Or not I prefer to take it back and at least backup first.

Haha..Machines called me yesterday confirming my problem is the battery and they will replace it..lucky..

And they said they won't touch the data also..they say battery problem format for what lol..

LOL...hell no on the service. Argued with me that my macbook alu's battery is not removable.. What bullshit..

Going to upgrade my Mac mini 2011 to 8gb. What are the best options? I'm thinking of going for corsair.
