 buying house without going through agent

anyone who actually bought a house directly through the owner without going through an agent ? want to know if buyer were to give deposit, is there any agreement that needs to be signed ?

Get a lawyer. Use the same as the SnP lawyer. It's not worth the hassle...

Do on your own, get a lawyer. If you are the buyer, you can try asking for some discount since the seller will save some agent commission, 1% discount or perhaps a few thousand (depending on the price of the property).
