hi, just purchased my xbox360 jasper set last week. I was playing it less than 10 hours and just last saturday, without any warning, i got a "red light" on my power adapter. For this reason, i cannot even turn on my console. I wasn't playing or turning on my xbox for the whole day. I was only turning it on at night when i wanted to play my favorite game and found the "red light" on my adapter.

I sent the adapter back to the shop where i got it from and they told me that they are not sure if i can claim warranty. There is no sign of burning on the adapter like bad smell at all.

Now, i asked him if there is any chance if i can purchase another power adapter while he help me with the warranty claim. He said "NO, currently there is no spare parts available for JAsper set!"

Is this true?

What should i do with my brand new jasper if i do not have the power adapter to use with it?

Is there anyone here who is the distributor of xbox360 and can offer me a good price for the power adapter 150 w?

You mean the power adapter that was supposed to be lighted with yellow when turned on, and orange if the console is off?

How is it possible?
I mean, it's impossible to flash Red unless there's an LED or some other stuff that flash red.

now is red of death on the power adapter...=.=

yeah..ur psu is dead..
if power stability issue, u still can turn on ur xbox and get rrod 0001. but this time, i guess ur psu is dead.

Can try with other PSU rite?

yeah..can try with other psu.. bring ur xbox to the shop. test it with another psu. if still red with another psu, there might be shorting inside. mines before happened like that, red light blink for 1 sec, then it goes back to orange. check other psu, same problem. openup the xbox, my dvd power cable is broken. for ur case, maybe something else.. shorting somewhere..

Just disconnect the PSU and on power. if it's orange then it should be ok....

I tried it on my previous broken box

this problem oso happen on my jasper. red light appear after i plug the power adapter. i unplug it back and plug it again, the red light disappear. fortunately my jasper still working until today.

maybe there are something problem with ur power brick
