I'm still searching for the wah sound i want.. Can't get it out of my JimDunlop Jh-1 wah.. Does anybody know where can i get an Ernie Ball wah ?Bently? it has caught my interest .. haha. How much is the price for this wah-wah ? and one more thing , true bypass , what is that mean ? thank you

true bypass means, when the pedal is not switched 'on', the circuitry will allow direct bypass of the signal straight to the output of the pedal.

that's all i understood about it.

try put ur pedal before the amp but dont switch it on. (clean channel)
then try put a direct connection from guitar straight to your amp input.

so u'll think u'll get the same sound?
basically yes, but a not "true bypass" pedal will eat your tone.
true bypass will pass the signal straight so even if there is tone loss, it would be very minimal.

it depend on some players they can compromise the tone loss or not.
some might think it's not a big issue.
but some might get hurts for it's noticable effect.

so choose ur preference

Thank you for explaining true bypass buddy , By the way , How can I differentiate between a True-bypass pedal and a non-true-bypass pedal ? For instance , a Boss OD-3 compact pedal , is that a true-bypass pedal ? So ears are the best answer to tell if a pedal is true-bypass pedal or not ? thank you.
